Visit: For context this was my 4th visit to Coral Sea Sensatori in Sharm El Sheikh, our previous visits were Nov ‘21, Nov ‘22, Jun ‘23 and now Christmas & New Year ‘24. All previous visits were for 2 weeks all inclusive like the one I am writing this review for. Arrival: We arrived at the hotel using the excellent service provided by the hotel taxis. This is the 3rd trip we have used them, all of them were without any issues. We were greeted by the staff with open arms as I was recognised immediately, a glass of fizzy apple juice was provided to refresh us during a seamless check-in process. I had payed the extra 10€ per night to choose my room, this was required to be settled on arrival which meant a quick scramble to transfer some funds onto my fee free card to cover this cost. Keycards and paperwork were given to us including the repeat guest discounts for the Spa and a la carte restaurants. Our cases were taken to the room and my daughter/partner joined them on the golf buggy. I took the decision to walk having been on a plane for 5 hours. It was great seeing all the staff again who were very welcoming on my short walk to room 3113 (one of the 5 swim ups rooms under the Gokan restaurants). Room: We stayed in room 3113. The swim room that we had stayed the first time we ever visited. The room hadn’t changed since the previous two years, not that this is a problem. The room was spotless. Everything was clean. The TV was on greeting us in the room. The disco lights in the bathroom were on and obviously being a veteran at the hotel. I know where the switch is to turn them off. The swim room faces the infinity pool and main pool. It has sun most of the day however I’d forgotten about the giant palm trees which do block some of the sun to the patio area of the room. The patio patio area is below pool level so there are some steps to walk up to get into the pool. I believe that they have made some changes to this since the previous visit, as I had slipped down when exiting the pool and caught my side on the brickwork of the flowerbed. This now appears to be rounded so would cause less damage than previously. As I said, the room was spotless and it was kept clean every day by our cleaner who done a fantastic job the three of us happily spent the time in the room with using the two sofa beds pushed together in the partition area as a very large double bed from my daughter who said that she slept better there than she did at home this way with her in the partition area myself and my partner could get up in the morning and not disturb her so much as she’d preferred to sleep in. One thing that I will say about the rooms and one that I have put some feedback to the hotel management previously is the lack of any USB charging by the bedside or on the desk in the room. The problem is there is only one free gang socket for UK plugs, which is upside down And the sockets by the bed are European sockets which isn’t a problem other than most adapters won’t
