The hotel is under the name Rixos, but it is far from being a true Rixos. I’ll start with the positives: we booked Swiss Select rooms, and they were wonderful — large, spacious, and located next to the swimming pools and slides. Every day, water bottles were provided, and they would give cola, juice, and biscuits only if you asked and tipped, unfortunately. We booked the hotel based on the understanding that we could visit other Rixos hotels, but we were surprised to find out on arrival that this was not allowed. Apparently, it was just a promotional offer last year to attract tourists, and they’ve since stopped offering it. There are many shortcomings at the hotel. For example, not enough umbrellas and chairs around the pools, and not enough float rings for the slides. You literally have to fight to get one, and the lifeguards don’t help organize turns or assist guests in any way. The restaurant is always full, and it's hard to find empty tables and chairs. It’s too small compared to the number of guests. You have to wait for a table to be cleared and then call one waiter to clean it and another to bring cutlery. The food options are not very diverse, and the desserts are the same every day — no variety or renewal. The reception area is small and always crowded, with no place to sit. The service is excellent if you give tips, but otherwise it’s average. Unlike other hotels, you’re not allowed to use your own shisha (hookah). If you want to smoke shisha, you have to pay $30 (more expensive than in Antalya). On the bright side, the snack food was delicious and the staff handling it were great. The location of the hotel is excellent — right next to Naama Bay and close to the Old Market. Transportation inside the hotel is done by golf cars, which is a very convenient feature. When we were about to leave, I took a small box and put some cake in it for my children to eat during the trip. I was surprised when the restaurant supervisor stopped me and said I was not allowed to take the cake outside the restaurant, even though he knew we were checking out and had a long journey ahead of us. I went to the reception and asked for a lunch box for the trip, but they refused and said it must be booked a day in advance. I told them no one had informed us about this policy. If someone asks me whether I would return to this hotel in the future, unfortunately, my answer would be: no.
