The room and bathroom was dirty, despite complaints, nothing was actioned until the last day when the “senior management” asked us for a meeting due to a negative review I had posted on here (this review was deleted due to the staff putting pressure on myself and my partner and making us feel uncomfortable whilst still at the hotel) After this meeting, our room was subject to a deep clean apparently, where some of the issues were resolved, however they still turned around mouldy lampshades on the hope I wouldn’t notice, and gave us some flowers and rose petals to try and make things better, this was too little too late as we were leaving within 5 hours of this happening despite raising this on day 2 of the trip. The overall site is dangerous, large hoses left as trip hazards, a roughly 15 foot dive pool left empty and unguarded, rusty nails sticking out of the shower, drain covers removed and left unguarded, numerous issues that could cause serious injury, yet the main concern from management was my negative review.. This site needs closed down and started again, the facilities are deteriorating and are in desperate need of modernisation, the site is a health and safety nightmare and an accident waiting to happen. The hotel actively tried to get me and my partner to sign a waiver stating we were happy with our stay and the improvements they made, we refused as no improvements were actually made. The level of quality here would be more suited to a 2* hotel at best, nowhere near the 4/5* they claim to be. There is a reason you can get this hotel for so cheap, so not believe the 4/5 that it is rated on TripAdvisor, if you are BRITISH, avoid this hotel like the plague, the service from the restaurant / pool staff is good and the snorkelling off the coast was amazing, but that’s about it in terms of compliments for this hotel. If it was in my power I would have closed down this hotel on the spot to avoid anybody else having to suffer the same week of hell myself and my partner did.
