I stayed in a dormitory. I think it was reasonable considering the price. I think it would have been better if they provided amenities such as a razor, toothbrush, lotion, etc.

Originally, I chose this hotel which is a bit far from Abashiri because I was driving by myself, but the photos showed that it was attractive. I don’t know if it was because of winter, but the estimated driving time on Google changed from 30-35 minutes when I booked the hotel to 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the actual time was different from the photos. Too big to be worth the 45-minute drive.

Perfect location. It was a 5-min walk from the bus station and less than 10 min from Roadside rest area. Room was spacious and it faced to the sea. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the balcony . Delicious breakfast and dinner. Food of western and Japanese style was provided. Dining area was big. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak English. Need to spend sometime to communicate and they tried their best to give help anyway. Better to use the Google translate in this case. Check-in time was 15;00. There is no receptionist before that. For guests arrived before 15:00 can leave luggage in the hotel but guests had to bear the responsibility.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with a large area and a bit of age. The service is very thoughtful, the hot spring is also good, and the room is spacious and clean. In particular, the buffet dinner and breakfast are very delicious, and many dishes use local ingredients. The open-air bath is very good, and the starry sky is also beautiful.

The service staff are very polite, smiling and can communicate in English. The room is large and comfortable; free drinks are provided in the lobby, and you can also enjoy a private hot spring session for free. The scenery outside the hotel is beautiful and you can watch the sunset.

The hotel is on the top of the mountain (next to the Xidai attraction), and it takes 20 minutes to walk up from the bus station. What I'm more concerned about is that there is a cemetery opposite It rained heavily on the day we arrived, and I couldn't see anything from the window, which made me very unhappy. Fortunately, it cleared up after the rain the next day, so the beautiful scenery was not wasted. There is only one receptionist in the hotel. The door will be locked after 8pm and you need to press the password to enter. The hotel provides instant noodles and drinks, each person can take one, and can only eat in the public restaurant area. Foreigners and Japanese also buy vegetarian seafood to cook You can see the sea from the hot spring area. I like the lazy sofa in the lobby the most. I can lie on it and watch the sea while sleeping. I don’t know if it’s because of the peak season, but at 1,400 yuan, it’s quite expensive to stay in this kind of hotel.
