As an American business traveler, this is probably the best hotel that I’ve stayed at in Shaoxing. I’ve stayed here repeatedly over the past 5 years or so. The hotel staff is friendly and can accommodate most of your needs if you are new to China or the city. They also have one of the best dinner buffets that is affordable with a wide variety of cuisines and all you can drink beer.

An unexpected surprise. The hotel we originally booked was canceled and we had to find another one. The location was very good and the environment and sanitation were very good in all aspects, especially the service staff. It was raining heavily that day. The instructor and teacher told us that the fossils in the museum are real fossils, unlike many places where they are models, and most of the fossils here are repaired by the curator himself. Back at the homestay, the boss has prepared afternoon tea for us.
