Chuqi Bieyuan (Cangqiao Zhijie Branch)

The accommodation was great, with the room exactly matching the picture. A handy feature is the laundry facility on the 3rd floor. Its location is perfect: just a short walk away from Cangqiao Old Street and other interesting spots. The Old Street, in particular, has an abundance of unique local food to satisfy for all three meals. Very appreciated the lovely hostess, who was incredibly warm and provided excellent service. A very good experience overall.

First of all this has to be the best location as it sits just at the edge of old shaoxing area so in 1 minute we were walking along the canals and past the old houses and eating places. Importantly the taxi can drop you right outside unlike the other homestays which require you to drag your bags down narrow streets. Good luck with that if yiubdont know the area. Our room was great for a family of four, and facilities were excellent. Our host kept giving us gifts each day and was so very kind to us and our children. This is the best place to stay for old Shaoxing in my opinion.
