The couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

老闆老闆娘很熱情，老闆免費接站幫忙各種預約，送站，贊。還免費送到偉人銅像廣場，雖然衹有幾百米。紅燒肉非常好吃，老闆娘親自下廚。自己種的冬瓜，就連我口味挑剔的兒子都説很鮮。房間大，院子有晾衣架，很好。贊。

房間基本設施都齊全，民宿環境挺不錯，周邊有池塘，民宿周圍種了青菜，風景挺好。民宿可以提供午餐和晚餐，老闆娘手藝不錯，湖南菜做的很好吃。老闆老闆娘很健談，還借了電動車給我們用。有機會再來韶山，還會選擇這家。

民宿離核心景區很近，步行一會就到了。房間寬敞整潔，衞生間設施齊全，一樓晚上睡覺非常安靜，洗衣服可以放在院子裏晾曬。老闆和老闆娘熱情好客，告訴你怎麼出行，免費接送站，我們去毛主席外婆家回來時沒有車，老闆免費接我們，路過毛震公祠帶我們去祭拜，給我們介紹韶山的風土人情。老闆娘做的韶山紅燒肉、蒸臘魚非常有特點好吃，想吃啥幾點吃給老闆娘一個電話就安排的妥妥的。幫我們買演出票比網上購票優惠，再有親朋到韶山去會推薦給他們吃住你家。

民宿離景點很近，到故居走路幾分鐘。房間乾淨整潔，晚上睡覺很是清凈。早上能聽到小鳥的叫聲。打開窗户，新鮮的空氣一湧而入。簡直是一個天然氧吧。值得推薦。

必須是五星好評，可以多給幾顆我就給幾顆，老闆和老闆娘把民宿運作得像私人訂製般的行程，還沒抵達以前就事先打電話溝通抵達時間，到了以後房間非常乾淨整潔，老闆還幫忙搬行李，簡單休息過後就可以直接吃晚餐，晚餐過後剛好有其他旅客要去看舞台劇追憶韶山冲，老闆也順便問我，而且他可以提供很實惠的票價，我個人覺得非常驚豔，非常值得一看。感謝緣份，讓我有機會來到韶山和這家人一起互動交流，離開前都有點意猶未盡，謝謝招待與照顧，我們後會有期！
