Hotels in The Mixc/Longyan South Road Food Street, Shantou

This hotel is in a very good location for walking to different tourist destinations.  There is the food street nearby, I would say about 5 minutes walk. The shops are open until very late at night, even around 10 pm there were people on the street eating.  Also nearby are the big malls Mix C. It's about a 15 minute drive from the 小公園 tourist hotspot. So our itinerary was to go from the railway station to the small park first and walk around and eat there. Then take a rest at the hotel and then go to the food street area.  The service at the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was great and had lots of selection. There was a noodle station. There was a congee station and tofu station. There were lots of western choices as well. At night apparently there is some free congee but we were too full to try it.  The rooms were well laid out and had all the items you would need such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. The staff around the whole hotel were well trained and very friendly. Everyone was helpful and would greet you. The cleanliness was very good and much better than other similar level hotels.  I would live here again on my next trip to Shantou.

Good hotel in a great location, definitely would come back to this hotel! Only minutes walk from Mix C department store, where you can find a lot of things to buy, eat or drink. Although there are Banks of China but we could not withdraw money, and we're not sure where the ATM for foreigners are in Shantou. Not sure if ABC bank is around, but we could withdraw money from ABC bank in Jiuzhaigou and Chengdu.

Longhu Hotel is an old four-star hotel in Shantou. Facilities: There are many parking spaces in the parking lot, and there are charging piles. In recent years, the East Building has been newly built to improve the ability to receive tourists. But there are also shortcomings at present. There is no breakfast restaurant in the South Building, and the breakfast restaurant on the second floor of the East Building needs to receive all the guests in the South Building and the East Building. The business area is too small, and it is not easy for many guests to find a seat for breakfast. I hope it will be improved as soon as possible. Environment: The geographical location is superior, and it is very convenient for business and travel. Service: Five-star service. Hygiene: Five-star hygiene.

Basically near to the Shantou station, room was clean and also amenities good. Only thing is aircon was not able to be adjusted to the temperature that I want. There’s two Regency Hotels make sure you enter the car park to alight although not sure if you will need to incur additional charges of you arrive by car

I would especially like to recognize the young lady who was on duty at the reception on the night of 25 October 2024. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but we had a memorable experience with her assistance. It was around 10:30 pm when my wife and I encountered difficulties connecting to the apartment’s Wi-Fi. Despite the late hour, she showed remarkable patience and kindness, helping us resolve the issue promptly and with genuine care. Her dedication and customer-focused attitude made a significant difference in our stay, and we felt genuinely valued as guests because of her professionalism and attentiveness. Employees like her truly enhance the reputation of your establishment, and I hope she receives recognition for her outstanding service. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. My usual stay in Shantou is International Hotel although older but is exceptionally good . This time we decided to try out the newly opened Hampton by Hilton and we were very impressed with its use of latest technology eg : contactless card key which gives direct access to the floor level that one is staying with a swipe of card and prompt response from the housekeeping with the use of robot delivery. The front office staff are very helpful and informative and they helped us to book Didi to our destination when there are no taxis available. The breakfast is varied and good. Of course I still prefer the breakfast at the revolving restaurant on top of International Hotel

As a family with 2 young children, it was pleasant to have two rooms of our desired arrangement that can be connected together via an inside door. The two rooms we booked are both spacious and clean. The decorations were the old-fashioned 90s luxury style. The hotel is opposite a shopping mall and it is easy to reach Walmart and Watson nearby.

Good service attitude, complete equipment and convenient parking. During breakfast, the person in charge will add food in time, including pork and meatball noodles, and shacha sauce. It's very convenient to drive here. After getting off the highway, we arrived very quickly. The bed is big and comfortable, which is really nice. There is a smart toilet in the bathroom, and you can control the TV and lights with voice, which is great! In addition, any problems were dealt with promptly, and there were 2 cans of soda in the refrigerator for free, which was great! This hotel is worth staying in and highly recommended.

The room is very clean and has no odor. The things used in the room are also good. The address is easy to find. It is surrounded by business districts and convenient transportation. It is not far from the night market. The most important thing is that there are facial cleansers, makeup removers, and disposable towels. It is Hermes in the B&B! Highly recommended ~ Very good stay experience 😉

First of all, I would like to praise the sincere and considerate service attitude of Atour's front desk. The guides for tourist attractions all provide locations, so it is very convenient to just follow the navigation and take a taxi. It's not far from anywhere, except Nan'ao Island, which is far from anywhere. 😂 Secondly, the hotel is very quiet, hygienic and convenient. I didn't see any problems. It's clean and tidy. I am also an Atour member and I am very satisfied with my stay at Atour Shantou. I hope I will choose this hotel again next time I come to Shantou.
