Below is a detailed breakdown for future guests. **Transportation:** From Shantou Station, a 15-minute taxi ride costing just 12 yuan got me to the Marriott. Super convenient! **The Room:** The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unparalleled sea view. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Besides the standard four complimentary bottled waters, they thoughtfully provided a large bottle of Nongfu Spring water, perfect for guests who enjoy brewing Kung Fu tea. The shower amenities were large bottles of 'thisworks' products, which had a lovely scent. While the hairdryer wasn't a Dyson, it was powerful and dried hair quickly. A full set of toiletries, including a dental kit, was also provided. The king-size mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring even my elderly travel companions slept soundly. **Service:** The young lady who checked me in on June 16th at 2 PM was professional, efficient, and incredibly quick. She attentively asked if we had any special requests, and my request for a latex pillow was promptly fulfilled. **Dining:** Breakfast was rich and diverse, featuring freshly squeezed cucumber juice and other homemade beverages. You absolutely *must* try the croissants! There were also many local Chaoshan delicacies not to be missed, especially a bowl of the Pig's Offal and Meatball Kway Teow. In the Executive Lounge, Victoria Yang was exceptionally nice and approachable. Upon learning I was traveling with my 75-year-old parents, she enthusiastically recommended numerous restaurants and shared excellent local travel tips. Her genuine and passionate service left a truly wonderful impression of the Marriott. The buffet dinner is only available on weekends; on weekdays, you can easily take a taxi to explore the countless amazing culinary options Shantou has to offer – you simply can't try them all! **Facilities:** Marriott's brand amenities consistently impress. The swimming pool, though not huge, was clean and well-maintained. The changing rooms were very thoughtful, featuring two steam rooms and even a swimsuit dryer. Upon entering the room, the TV displayed a personalized welcome message, a nice VIP touch. **Hygiene:** Excellent. The room felt very new, with no unpleasant renovation odors, and the air conditioning was commendably quiet.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The room was beautifully decorated, feeling both cozy and elegant, and fully equipped. The minibar in the room is simply a plus, the category is intimate, from iced drinks to small snacks, free of charge, you can enjoy it at any time without going out to buy it. The room had a beautiful night view, a great view, and a generous breakfast variety. There was also a small refrigerator with cold drinks. [Excellent] The hotel seemed to have just opened. During my stay, your cleaning staff scanned the access card and tried to open the door without knocking or calling out, or without permission or before check-out time. This included delicious Chinese dim sum alongside both sweet and salted soya milk, providing a wonderful start to the day. While there is no conventional television in the apartment, the presence of a projector, which supports in-app movies and screen mirroring for Apple and Android devices, offers a unique and enjoyable alternative for entertainment. Additionally, the apartment was equipped with an appropriate number of guest amenities and bathing necessities, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, there were some drawbacks that warrant attention. One significant concern was the extremely slippery bathroom floor, which could pose safety risks. The addition of an anti-slip mat would greatly enhance guest safety. Furthermore, I found the storage water heater to be somewhat inconvenient, particularly during winter. Waiting 20 minutes for hot water after each shower was frustrating, especially for those who prefer longer showers. Lastly, as an apartment without a reception area, the check-in process could benefit from clearer instructions. A more straightforward guide for guests would be advantageous. In conclusion, while the accommodation offers numerous appealing features, addressing these noted drawbacks would significantly improve the overall guest experience.
