I recently stayed at Diotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is well-maintained, and the room was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail in both the decor and amenities.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I also enjoyed the dining options at the hotel — the food was fresh and well-prepared.
Overall, Diotel offers good value for a relaxing and comfortable stay. I’d consider staying again and would recommend it to others looking for a calm, well-run hotel.

We absolutely loved this beautiful hotel! The rooms are so beautifully decorated that it made us not want to leave. The hotel had a kueh-making activity for guests, and it was a lot of fun..
There are many shops and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient to stay here.

Great hotel, both the facilities and the professionalism of the staff, is to be praised. Services at the front desk reception is excellent and the staff are attentive and strike to provide extra assistances to guest such as helping us to purchase a traditional gift from the local market and booking taxi for ud to the rail station upon check out. Services at the breakfast area can be improved to be more polite and attentive with smiles to match the front desk. Smiling and attentiveness will bring the hotel quality to the next level of a 5 star boutique hotel.

Staffs are super friendly, voice control for lighting, TV and curtains. Free laundry and dryer service on 10th floor. One block away from Food Street. Close to Shantou High Speed Train station.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in in China. The location is 10 minutes DiDi ehailing ride from Shantou train station ( can easily make day trip to Chaozhou using the high speed train) and 10 to 20 minutes DiDi ehailing ride from Shantou Old Town and MixC Mall. Can also take a direct bus to Nan'Ao Island as the bus stop is in front of the hotel. They provide Chaozhou Opera on Saturday nights and provider a Red Peach Cake ( Png Kueh) workshop complimentary. The staff called Baby was super helpful and recommended us delicious places to eat and tried to help us to locate our ancestral village. We were touched by her pro active bahaviour. Also there is a AI Assistant in the hotel room called XiaoDu ( similar to Alexa). The bed is super comfortable and room design is top notch. I will recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Shantou

This hotel is lovely and conveniently located just 10 minutes by car from Shantou Station. With numerous restaurants and shops nearby, it’s an ideal place to stay.
