Location is very good. Food and shopping is within walking distance. The long yan food street is about 10-15 mins walking distance and along the way you can start shopping and eating. The hotel service is very good no keys using digital locks. Due to low season they allow us to extend the check out time to 3pm.

Everything about the apartment was okay except for the service of the front office on the 5th floor. On the day of check out we wanted to get their assistance to call a Didi for us to go to the train station as we don't have the apps . Surprisingly there are very few taxis in Shantou hence we needed the office's help to get us a Didi. At 8.45am we knocked on the doors of the office but no response. Didn't the advert say it's a 24- hour front office? Rang them but nobody answered our call. Texted them and they told us to call Didi ourselves as they don't have the telephone number. Poor customer service. Will never stay here again.

Excellent location next to the MixC mall and plenty of restaurants and street food stalls just opposite. The apartment was clean and had good facilities, which made it comfortable for the family. The staff were very accommodating, we would stay there again.

It takes an hour to get to Golden Bay Hotel from Jieyang Airport by Airport Express. It is within walking distance. There are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is located in the apartment. It is quiet and hygienic. The towels are disposable. I will book Aurora again in the future. Good reviews
