My wife and I have just returned from a visit to the Isle of Wight . We chose the Cliff hall hotel based on the positive feedback from others and are glad we did . The hotel is in a great location with fantastic views out to sea it has a lovely lounge dining room and garden all with great views along with a nice bar and tasty breakfast we had a great stay but what makes it stand out from others are the owners Brendon & Deborah , they are friendly helpful and nothing is to much trouble thank you both for a very enjoyable stay 😊

We felt welcome and "at home" even before arriving. The beautiful decor and the wonderful situation, close to train and bus stations, also perfectly positioned for those holiday walks, postcard views across the bay and 10 minute strolls into town to various restaurants, tea shops, theatre, shops and attractions. We booked quite late and were in the "last" room, small but well appointed and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is good, various and plentiful with gorgeous views. The lounge and bar is well loved and a place to relax and make new friends in the evening. We stayed a week and were sad to leave we felt so relaxed. Our heartfelt thanks to Deborah and Brendan who are the very best of hosts and to their lovely team. Already thinking about next time!

Cliff Hall is a great hotel in an amazing location. Brendan and Debbie are such friendly hosts and their staff are excellent. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful. We had a very spacious room with a wonderful sea view. We enjoyed a very relaxing break.

The Cliff Hall is such a lovely place and a real gem. Brandon and Deborah were amazing hosts. Very friendly and so helpful. It was so nice to be there as it felt like home away from home with amazing company. Their lovely children were amazing and my two really enjoyed their company. Thank you again for such a lovely experience!

A great venue, booked last minute, warm welcome by owners, Brendon and Debbie, spacious, comforable beds, clean, cosy feel, felt at home. Spectacular views via a large conservatory, would recommend ...thanks for the great hospitality ☺️

We just got home from a mini break to the IoW. Stayed at Cliff Hall for 5 nights and loved it. Deborah & Brendan are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was a great size and had a dressing room leading onto a private patio looking over the beautiful garden and sea. The location just a short walk into town or down to the beach was ideal. Beautiful lounge and bar area with a pool table for relaxing in the evening. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the staff very efficient and friendly. Thank you all for such a wonderful few days!

Our room was enormous, as was the really good breakfast each morning. (The scrambled eggs were always superb!) Cliff Hall is a very comfortable hotel with great views out to sea. And you couldn't ask for friendlier or more helpful hosts than Deborah and Brendan. Hopefully we'll be back. Peter and Sarah

What a lovely place to stay in. This was my second time in Isle of Wight and this time I came with my wife. Lovely view from the patio and small garden overlooking 180 degree view of the beautiful English Channel. The breakfast selection was lovely, and definitely recommend anyone visiting Shanklin or IOW.
