Pet-friendly Hotels in Shangri-La

The hotel is very good location for old town and easy to find food and enjoy with sightseeing around old town. The hotel receptionist is good service and try to communicate with us with Chinese translations App. The room is clean, the towel and bedsheets is good. Wi-Fi is great. The mattress is quite hard for me, but my friend is okay. the pillow and mattress must change to better condition.

Very nice place, the room is big, The bed very comfortable and the shower works perfectly. The bathroom was clean but some hair on the floor, but overall okay. The location was great, no noisy at all and a lot of restaurants nearby. We had a late checkout and they stored our luggage while we were waiting for our flight at night. Shangri-la was amazing! The location was really breathtaking, simply wonderful. The room was cleand and cozy (even had electric blankets to keep you warm in place of air conditioning!) and restaurant served tasty, Chinese dishes in good prices. Overall, the experience - together with the hike - was very nice but it has to be noted that in case of the simplest no-bathroom room, the shared public toilet and bathroom is quite a disgusting experience. We've seen a lot and this one 'topped' it all.

A Tibetan-style online celebrity shop that has appeared in TV dramas. Close to the ancient city, 3 minutes walk. The star room is especially recommended, it is very quiet on the 3rd floor. The unique impression is the boss and the proprietress who are full of human touch. They do their best to treat their guests like family

During the Spring Festival, there are a lot of tourists. When checking in, although there are many people, the hygiene is not fooled. We had a lovely time at Yumu Zhiye! The inn was close to the ancient town of ShangriLa and accessible by car. The staff were very friendly and helpful, communication by WeChat was convenient. Breakfast was a mini buffet with mainly Chinese food. The inn provided a fruit platter and some drinks everyday which was a very nice gesture. As there are no elevators in the building the staff helped us with the luggages. The room we booked had floor heating which is nice during winter and well laid out: enough space for a family of four.

The B&B provides free pick-up and drop-off, no need to make a reservation in advance. Just call them when you get to the station. The room is clean and comfortable, with floor heating, quiet at night, and the bed is very comfortable. The housekeeper was very considerate. He measured our blood oxygen levels as soon as we arrived, and often invited us down to drink tea and chat. The B&B is very close to the Prayer Wheel and a 4-minute walk to Moonlight Square and Guishan Park. It's also a few minutes away from Sifang Street. It costs about 12 yuan to take a taxi to Songzanlin Temple. Chartering a car to Pudacuo costs around 150 round trip. Breakfast is very simple: white porridge, sweet potatoes, eggs, and steamed buns. If you want to eat rice noodles or noodles, you can go out and walk to the left on the street. There are several restaurants to choose from. In the evening, there is a shop owned by Tibetans about ten meters to the right of the exit. The two sisters are very enthusiastic and the food is delicious. I suggest you go to Shangri-La Station and send postcards. It's also a few minutes away. There is a place for renting Tibetan clothing next to the B&B, which is worth trying and not expensive. 88 per day including makeup.

unique, excellent service, location, meals and room. Owner couple went out of their way to serve guests. They cooked the best meal in the area so no need to find food elsewhere. They arranged transport for us to go to Shangrila, Lijian Airport and the hiking trails. We were also invited to a wedding party in the Village high up i the mountain. Joyous celebration of dance and song with the whole village. our last day was the special day where the villagers slaughter their own pigs to make preserved meat. We were again invited to the farms high up in the mountain and had a most unique experience of live pig slaughtering and BBQ. No tour will ever offer this. As hotel, the accommodation is excellent for the price. Our room overlooks the gorge and mountain. The heated bed is great touch and comfort. Can see stars in the sky at night from the room balcony. Family run and treat guests like family. Highly recommended.

The staff at this home stay is some of the most exceptional and professional I’ve encountered in all my years of travel around the world (special shout-out to 小宋！）We were booked for 2 nights and our group of 3 was generously given an upgraded room. From the moment we checked in, 小宋 and his team were eager to assist with questions, recommendations and helping to arrange and set up itineraries for our stay. Sadly, on my second day, I became severely sick with altitude sickness and 小宋 came to my assistance immediately- checking my oxygen levels and setting me up to the oxygen machine in the room. He handled the entire situation with such kindness, compassion, composure and professionalism that I’m still blown away. He helped my family members find medicine for me and offered his advise and guidance while making them feel assured at what should’ve been quite a scary situation. When we decided it was best to leave Shangri la as soon as possible for lower elevations in Lijiang, 小宋 sprang into action to find us a carpool that was leaving within the hour and also took the initiative to help make sure we were refunded for our second night booked on a third party site. I can’t thank him enough and I will 100% recommend this hotel and this team to everyone I know that’s traveling to Yunnan. I truly hope to be able to return myself under better conditions. Even more so, the hotel also happens to be incredibly designed and beautiful with smart tech features in the rooms. When I booked, I thought it was a cool feature that they have oxygen machines inside each room, but who would’ve known that it would prove to be a lifesaver for me 😅

The hotel it’s near the Shangri-la Ancient area, about 10 minutes walking, near the hotel has many different restaurant options. The room it’s fancy, it’s cheap fro the equipment and views that it has. The owner and the staff are really warm people. If you want rest assured you must book this hotel.
