It was a dark, dark mountainside hotel with no streetlights. A woman staying there coming back from the ancient city would have needed a bodyguard. Furthermore, the supposedly diffuse oxygen concentrator was completely useless, a mere decoration. The actual oxygen reading on the panel remained at 20.9, regardless of whether you opened or closed the door or adjusted the target oxygen level to 22 or 26. The hotel eventually admitted to problems with the backend system and the panel, and that all rooms were affected, so they couldn't change rooms. They urged guests staying that day to seek legal redress. Their diffuse oxygen concentrator lacked any manufacturer's name or other information on the exterior, raising doubts about its factory-standard performance. Initially, they denied it, claiming the readings indicated it was producing oxygen. I ended up with a headache, numbness in my hands and lips, and I went to the hospital in the middle of the night. My husband's blood oxygen level had dropped to 82. We moved the children to another hotel in the middle of the night, in the pouring rain. The service was also terrible. I gave the hotel my license plate number, but it wasn't entered in time, and I was still charged for parking after leaving. I tried to contact their manager, but he never showed up. A frustrated waiter arrived with several oxygen tanks, and only showed up after repeated and insistent requests. This is serious consumer fraud. If I weren't allergic to altitude sickness, I might have been fooled into checking in like the other guests by the fake check panel.

The location is great. Just down the slope is Dukezong Ancient Town, which can be reached in a few minutes. I saw some comments before saying that you have to walk up a steep slope. In fact, you can take a taxi to the door and don't have to walk up the slope. The hotel also has an electric car that can take you to the edge of the ancient city. When you come back, just call them and they will pick you up. It's very convenient. I don't know how good this hotel is. Not only is the scenery amazing, the rooms are beautiful and luxurious, and the service is top-notch and attentive. It is worth mentioning that the room has intelligent diffuse oxygen supply, so there is no need for oxygen cylinders, which is really comfortable. The yak hotpot in the hotel restaurant is very delicious. What more could you ask for than to eat such delicious hotpot facing the night view of Dukezong Ancient Town! We changed our itinerary so we had to catch the high-speed train and couldn't get a taxi, so the hotel immediately found a driver to take us, which we were very grateful for. Overall, this hotel is really very good. If I have the opportunity to go to Shangri-La again, I will definitely stay there again. If you can see this, don't hesitate, please book it directly!

Thanks to the front desk lady for upgrading our room. We can overlook Dukezong Ancient City, temples, etc. The service is also warm and thoughtful! It meets the basic requirements of a luxury hotel. It is very quiet at night ~~ like a secret place. The only flaw may be that the oxygen supply is too noisy😭
