We really enjoyed our stay in this hostel. We loved the house and its ******* style. The owner speaks very good English and she shared very helpful insights to guide our trip. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our family of three. We also enjoyed yummy breakfasts and the eventual end of day beer at the common area.

Amazing hostel in a traditional style building. The owner is very nice, she speaks english and is willing to help when you need it. I had an amazing time here, if I were to come back in Shangri-La I would definitely come back here.

The hostel was clean, cozy, and budget-friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect close to public transport and local attractions. The common area had a great vibe for meeting fellow travelers. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay. Would definitely recommend to backpackers.

Highly recommend!
From the first time I loved this place. The atmosphere is so friendly here, that I could feel like with the good friends. The owners are friendly and very helpful. And speak English. Comfortable beds, warm duvets, electric blankets. Clean bathrooms. Washing machine and place to dry the clothes on the terrace. Delicious food (vegan options too). Travelers from over the world. And very good location.Highly recommend!

A wonderful youth hostel right in the heart of Shangri-La’s old town. The location is perfect—on a quiet little street, yet just steps away from all the amenities. The hostel is very clean and pleasant. There is a restaurant that serves good breakfasts, as well as both Chinese and Western dishes.
And finally, the owner who welcomed us—or at least the person who did—was very friendly and also spoke English, which was really helpful for giving us advice on what to do around Shangri-La and how to get to each point of interest.
I highly recommend this hostel, and we plan to return after our stay in the surrounding area of Shangri-La.

The pace is really nice, unfortunately our room was really dirty. It's a shame because the place is nice and the hosts are lovely, the bathroom was very smelly, but it may be that it was because they just changed the toilets. But the room was extremely dirty. We also found rotten lemons behind the bed and the toilet bin had dirty toilet paper and pads from previous users.

Room design was nice and bed was extremely comfortable and good to sleep in. Public toilets and showers are clean and location is superb too, in the middle of dukezong ancient village. Staff was super friendly and helpful and can speak English.
