Yueshang Boutique Hostel (Dukezong Ancient City)

The host was very kind, they picked us up at the train station. They helped us carry our luggage to the 2nd floor and suggested places to visit in Shangri la. The host drove us to Songzanlin Monastery and Pudacuo Park, they were very friendly and invited us to sit and chat over tea. I am very happy to be the first Vietnamese to stay at this homestay. On the last day of going to the airport, my friend forgot his favorite water bottle at the hotel, the host drove the water bottle to the airport for us. I am very grateful for that. Our group is vegetarian so we had very few options when we arrived in Shangri la, luckily the homestay chef cooked vegetarian food, super delicious, thanks to that we were not hungry and very happy. Her kitchen was very neat and clean. The location was convenient because it was in the old town. Just a small note, it would be much better if the bathroom and bedroom were better separated by a wall. Not all rooms, just the 2nd floor room. I will come back when I go to Shangri la, thank you

It's very good. The boss is also very enthusiastic. He also told us not to buy local specialties in the ancient city because there are many fakes. We should go to the farmers' market because the locals buy them there.

The room is very spacious and comfortable with a small sofa. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas. It is good to separate the bathing area and toilet area. The hotel has two styles, one is light luxury style, and the other is ******* style. Light luxury style is more modern and smart, while ******* style is more unique and cultural, and it is quieter and the entrance is very convenient. There is also a small electric donkey for rent just a few minutes away from the ancient city. I really like the characteristics there, it is clean and hygienic, and the service attitude is good.
