In Niru, I stayed at a Tibetan-style guesthouse I loved. The lobby was clean, spacious, and bright. The front desk offered complimentary ginger tea, which warmed me up completely. The service was also excellent—not only welcoming but also efficient. The chicken soup for dinner was incredibly delicious. The hot pot is highly recommended. The free-range chicken was firm, not greasy at all, and incredibly fragrant! After dinner, we warmed up by the fire in the front hall, where souls from all corners of the world gathered to warm each other. After dinner, I felt a sense of relief as I lay down in my room. The room was so quiet I could only hear my own breathing! Waking up in the morning and enjoying a hearty breakfast melted away any fatigue from the hike. This guesthouse offers more than just a place to stay; it creates a warm and caring home for its guests. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this guesthouse to my friends, as I'm confident they'll experience the same beauty and warmth. I look forward to seeing you again.

Arro Khampa, as a brand-name B&B, offers a truly exceptional experience. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us arrange a shuttle to the airport and carrying our luggage throughout the entire journey to the inn. They were incredibly helpful. We were welcomed with a ******* Hada and warm ginger tea! We even had Yunnan cross-bridge rice noodles made especially for us, which was so touching! We also had a delicious local chicken hot pot for dinner, which was absolutely delicious! A must-try! The hotel owner learned we were going on a hike and offered us a free shuttle to the Nanbao Ranch hiking trailhead. We were so grateful! This was my first trip to Yunnan, my first time in Shangri-La. I was not only amazed by the scenery, but also deeply moved by the local people's sincerity, kindness, and warmth! Tashi Delek! Goodbye Niru! Goodbye Arro Khampa!
