Love this hotel. Situated in ancient town, but not too far from main road (Didi drop off). Owner is super friendly & helpful. Bedroom floor has heater to keep your feet warm all the time. Has wall oxygen which we turn on for few hours although not really needing it. Toilet is a smart toilet, has bidet & can be instructed by calling it.. Xiao Ai 😍.. But it didn't understand us hence we didn't really use its smart features. Owner was kind to send us to train station at 6.30am morning for us to catch our 7.40am train back to Kunming. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Had amazing stay in Shangri La! The perfect place to  explore the gem of the city (ancient city of dukedzong). The warmth of the hotel owner and ever ready to help anytime stole our heart from the time we arrived there. He arranged free drop off and pick up at the train station (need to add in WeChat and inform a day before if you are staying for more than 2 nights). He even helped carrying our luggage to our first floor room! The room we stayed was queen bedded room which was clean, spacious with the beautiful view. It is thoughtfully and well equipped with oxygen supply, central heated floor, sensor toilet with warm seated pot and temp. controlled bathroom. You will always see him (owner) in the lobby with welcoming smile on his face, it was just like home away from home. Totally recommendable. We will definitely come back and stay there again😊😊

The hotel is conveniently located within the Dukezhong ancient town. The owner sent driver to pick us up from the train station. Room is big for 4 pax on level 2, easy accessible. There is oxygen supply in the room! Very glad for that bacause I was feeling sick and breathless. You can pick apples and pears from the basket at reception. Surprising sweet! The owner is very friendly. Allowed us to leave our luggage when we checked out and pick up in the evening. Even arrange for driver to send us to train station! Suggestion: shower would be better in the inner space after toilet. Reason is after someone shower, the rest has to be careful not to slip on the wet floor to reach toilet. It is good the owner provided slippers though. Thank you for sharing walnuts with us too.
