Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay (Dukezong Ancient City Branch)

Very Good Location - Within Dukezong ancient and minutes from the main attractions within. The boss and lady boss are very friendly people who you can chat with and they even offer timely pickup/drops to the train station/airport. The loft room was clean and cozy but there is bar nearby with music, so to consider if you are an early sleeper. The walls are also on the thinner side, hence to consider as well. However, for me it wasn’t an issue and it was a comfortable stay.

I travel with my husband and my teenager son and daughter. Stay here really feels like home. The owners (husband and wife) who take care of this homestay are really friendly and kind. They even help to drop us at the airport. The location is very good, in the middle of Dukezong Ancient town. Everything is around this homestay. We surely will stay here if we visit Shangri-La again. Highly recommended this homestay. The room is tastefully designed , spacious and comfortable. It even has a smart toilet. Felt like home away from home. The owner, wife and their son are all very helpful, helping us arrange our trip, transportation etc. They will make sure that you got a good deal and give good advice on planning our trip. It is also at a very convenient location to visit other attraction areas, shops and restaurants. We extended another day after a five night stay because we love the place too much and we wanted to have a relaxing day just to fully enjoy the place. The owner upgraded us to an even bigger room with a view to the temple at Guishan park. The owner also picked us up from the Dukezong Ancient town when we arrived and got up early to send us to the train station when we checked out.
