Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay (Dukezong Ancient City Branch)

We had an amazing stay at Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La, Yunnan. From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive, keeping in touch with us for three weeks before our trip. They provided useful tips, such as bringing heavy clothes due to the cold and snow, which helped us a lot in preparing for our visit. One of the best things about this homestay was the hospitality. The host picked us up and dropped us off at the train station for free of charge, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. They also went the extra mile by lending us winter jackets at no cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, they arranged a driver for us to visit the places we wanted to explore, making our trip smooth and enjoyable. The homestay itself was fantastic—spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures, and equipped with complete amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the hot blankets and oxygen supply, which were essential due to Shangri-La’s high altitude. The homestay also had a modern design while being located in the heart of the ancient town, offering easy access to everything. Beyond the comfortable stay, the host’s kindness and guidance made our experience even better. They recommended great places to visit and local restaurants to try, ensuring we had a memorable trip. The hotel owner give us a very service. They pick us up and drop us off to train station without fee. The hotel location is also great! The owner is very helpful, he help us to bring our luggage even thought the hotel have no lift. Also he help us to booked tour to balagezong. Lastly, he also let us use our hotel coat as we forgot to bring ours. Also this is the only hotel in china i stay that has bidet :)

This homestay is the best! Very recommended 👌🏻 the host is very accommodating. The location is just perfect. It’s near to everything. There’s bed warmer and floor heater and the toilet comes with automatic bidet. There’s washing machine and even extra jackets that can be borrowed from the hotel as we undermine the cold in Shangrila the puffer jacket we borrowed really help us a lot with the cold. There’s pickup and dropoff service for free to and fro the Railway Station. The room that we book is really nice and the view is also nice. Please stay here if you come to Shangrila. You won’t regret it.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Have heated floor so you wouldn’t feel cold. Hosts were so friendly and even offered us free pickup and drop off at the train station. We inform the host that our plan changed and he helped us to book for the balagezong day trip. Location was superb, near halal eateries and very accessible. Thank you so much. We had a really great time here

The room is wide and well equipped with oxygen and floor heating and owner provided unlimited mineral water .Very recommended

Superb!!!! The best hotel with the great service. The staff offered us free pick up & sent to & from the train station & help us a lot during our stay. The room is really comfortable with 5 star standard. Next trip to Shangrila definetly will stay here again.
