Best Hotels near Deqen Passenger Transport Terminal, Shangri-La

This hotel is an excellent choice. The price is super low. The key is that there is such a large leisure area next to the room. I love it. I love it so much.

I have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me 

The location is good, very close to Songzanlin Monastery. The parking lot is very convenient. The atrium is very beautiful and very impressive. There is an oxygen concentrator in the room. The water temperature and pressure are very good. Bathing is very comfortable. It is just on the roadside.

Missing items: - No disposable shower cap [If girls don't want to wash their hair, it's inconvenient. - No full-length mirror [It should be said that there is only a small round mirror on the sink in the whole room, which is not very convenient for girls with more than two people. - No curtains [Because the B&Bs in the ancient city are very close to each other, if the B&B opposite starts to live in the future, there will be hidden dangers when changing clothes in the room. - There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom [The overall structure of the bathroom is too poetic... ignoring some practicality. 2. Unsatisfactory points: - Because of the special nature of this room type, the roof is very low. After the initial excitement, the problem of inconvenience in movement came out. If you are a little anxious, you will easily hit the beam. It will be suitable for families with children. Adults cannot stand upright at the edge of the room. - The door lock is smart, without double insurance - In terms of room cleaning, there are also common problems of B&Bs, which are not very professional and mainly deal with garbage - Summary: The owner told us that the soft furnishings of this B&B are all big brands and very stylish. But after living here, I feel that the consideration of details is still not in place, and more female guests can be invited to provide more warm suggestions ▫️There are also good places 1. Provide pick-up and drop-off service at the railway station 2. The address is located on the edge of the ancient city, and it is relatively quiet to rest at night 3. The floor heating is very powerful, but it needs to be turned on for a longer time to be effective 4. The overall decoration style is unique. If the itinerary is loose, you can sit on the rooftop to enjoy the scenery

Facilities: There are not many facilities in the hotel. The room has floor heating and oxygen supply. It saved my life as a baby from the south. I was suffering from high fever and could only sleep peacefully at night because of these two things. Thumbs up. Hygiene: Very clean and tidy. You can also choose the scent of shower gel and shampoo, which is very good. Environment: The hotel is atmospheric, the decoration is very charming, and has a Southeast Asian style feel. Service: The service is very good. I took off my coat when taking pictures at night because of my high reflexes. I caught a cold. The hotel sent a heat detector and sugar water with just one phone call. I like it.

This hotel is really very satisfying! The service is very good, the staff is enthusiastic and professional, and they can always solve our needs in the first time, which makes people feel particularly considerate. The sanitation of the guest room is also very good, the bedding is very clean, and it can be seen that it is changed after each guest, so that we can rest comfortably. Moreover, parking is also very convenient, with plenty of parking spaces, which is really worry-free. Staying here is really a pleasure, and the experience is superb! The hotel is very close to the ancient town gate - maybe a couple of minutes at most. It is also very well suited to access the airport and not to far from the train station. The young lady working on the reception desk was very helpful, friendly and kind. Being a solo English speaking traveller (I don't speak any Chinese), i really appreciated how helpful she was, going out of her way to use the translation app to communicate with me. And when I came back from my day walking around the lovely ancient town, she recognised me and handed me my paperwork for Tibet which I had earlier forgotten to collect. The hotel room I had was a good size with a nice big window looking towards the ancient town. The room and bathroom facilities were good although the carpet looked a little old and marked. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was good. The room heaters were a novelty but warmed the room well. The electric plugs for the heater, electric blanket were a little worrying hanging near the bed and one electric wall socket (power point) was hanging off the wall. The hotels interior could do with some general maintenance to make it look better.

The room is very comfortable and very close to the ancient city. Just turn a corner and enter. If you don't like beef, there are many other snack bars on the street, which is very convenient. The proprietress of Key Beauty is very nice. She also recommended attractions to me and helped me inquire about attraction-related matters, such as departure times, ticket purchase information, etc., which saved me a lot of trouble.

This hotel has good facilities, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service attitude at the hotel front desk is very good, the staff are warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home. The hygienic condition of the room is very good, neat and clean, without any odor, making people feel comfortable and reassured. The hotel is very close to the ancient city. It only takes a few minutes to get there. It was really a happy trip.
