The front desk girl is warm and friendly. There is constant temperature water heating in the room. Shangri-La has dry weather and high altitude, which is very good. It’s my first time here at Shangri-la and I had the best 4 nights at this family-run inn. The inn is conveniently located within the ancient town and it is situated near the world’s largest prayer wheel of the great Buddha temple. The family’s son personally drove down to the airport past midnight to help us transport our luggages to the inn. Upon arrival, we are greeted with some of the best tea and snacks unique to Shangri-la. The room is Japanese style, making way for plenty of natural light. It is also clean. More importantly, it is well equipped with room heater, floor heater, oxygen concentrator, and humidifier, which are essential to a good night’s sleep. The family would always invite us for their family meals, and the lady boss even made 土豆丝 and 牛肉包子 for us when she learnt that it’s our favourite dish! She is an enthusiastic lady who would always make sure our stomachs are full. She also makes amazing pickles, something I would miss greatly. The family’s son has good knowledge of the place and would notify us of the festivities that are happening. He also knows some of the best places to eat and do ******* style photoshoot. Overall, my stay at Ganlo felt like home, and I would highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking to have a good time. 谢谢阿姨这几天的招待 ☺️
