房間超出預期的好！離景區很近！是在民宿羣裏面，相對安靜。
乾淨明亮空間大，都可以組團跳帕梅拉了。床品衞生應該是做的不錯的，睡起來比很多酒店都要舒服，沒有皮膚乾燥和癢癢的感覺，這點非常滿意，空調也很新效果不錯。
廁所沒有乾濕分離，應該用的是熱水器，不過熱水充足，有提供洗髮水沐浴露牙刷牙膏等基本用品。
一樓是小炒店，但是二樓房間沒有油煙味，這點很好。
陽台很大，門前是一條小河，不過陽台門關不緊，晚上睡覺會有水流聲，聽着白噪音睡眠質量更好了😂
價格非常實在，是節假日臨時定的，比同等類型民宿會便宜些，性價比很高👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This was an incredible stay! Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time in the area - even assisting us with hikes we wanted to do outside of the scenic valley. The breakfasts are lovely and a great addition to the stay. We couldn’t recommend this place enough.
There is also a great washing and drying facility on the top floor - great for back packers.

New Zealanders with our 6 year old had a lovely stay here in this home stay for 2 nights. Nice couple that have converted their 4 storey house into a homestay 2 years ago to cope with the increase of tourists visiting WangXian Valley. We were fortunate enough to time it that their daughter who spoke some English was back visiting. They kindly dropped us to the valley and also picked us up which is about a 10 minute commute each way.
The valley was amazing and this was a good location to base ourselves we found as far more affordable that the options within the valley. The commute is easy and the area has plenty of local eateries to enjoy the evening before visiting the valley. We will be back here one day forsure. Don’t hesitate in booking this nice family friendly homestay hotel. The mother and daughter also kindly delivered us to SHANGRAO train station at a lower fee than the DiDi option as they were heading into the city anyway for some shopping so that worked out nicely. They’ve assured us they plan to get a coffee machine in the future for foreigners to have this option within the lobby so that will be a nice add on for the next visit.

The B&B is clean and tidy, the proprietress and her daughter are warm and friendly, the room is large, and they enthusiastically found a car to take us to Wangxian Valley for a visit. When we checked out, they also found a car to take us to the station. It is a B&B that I recommend staying in!

AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle.
My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating.
The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems.
We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints.
The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket.
Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view.
We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat.
Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together.
The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them.
The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them.
The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

GGuest UserWhile riding the cable car, I heard tourists next to me exclaiming, ”What beautiful Hui-style architecture!” Looking up, you can see the undulating white walls and green tiles, with a simple and elegant background. As the cable car goes up, there is a rapeseed terrace field under your feet. It’s a pity that without the filter of sunlight and the color of the season, there are fewer bright colors. However, no matter when you come here, you can see colorful crops drying on the roofs. The color of the crops drying in the autumn is probably their unique skin color.
Some people say that entering Huangling is like entering a game world. In the square at the entrance of the village, tourists used existing props to hold a general meeting of all members of the Huangling Brigade in an orderly manner. ”Dear villagers, we are gathered together today...” ”Little comrade, please be serious. Take your ice cream and sit down!” There was laughter everywhere. Along the stone road, you can meet the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of making straw raincoats. Seeing the straw raincoat, one can't help but think of the line ”A green bamboo hat, a green straw raincoat, no need to go home in the slanting wind and drizzle.” The straw raincoat, an ancient garment for wearing in the rain, is not as pretty and light as an oil-paper umbrella, but it carries the rich history of agricultural civilization. It contrasts with the surrounding mountains and terraces, forming a peaceful and beautiful pastoral picture. Along the way, there are free and casual tie-dye works, golden and crispy Huangling oil cakes, soft, glutinous and sweet handmade glutinous rice cakes, and NPC grandparents who feed you enthusiastically.
I like the human touch here. From Jingdezhen to Huangling, I met very nice people along the way. The driver who came like a timely rain when we were catching the high-speed train; the passers-by who enthusiastically guided us to pick up our stored luggage at the exit; the passenger who picked up our ID cards and the lovely steward. Let me end with a quote from the B&B sister: “You are very good people, so the people you meet are also very good.” Kind people make Jingdezhen and Huangling warmer, and allow everyone who comes here to find their own warmth and touch.

GGuest UserAfter a day of fun in the picturesque Wangxian Valley, I dragged my tired body back to the B&B where I stayed this time. I was really glad that I chose the right place!
🌟 The room is so comfortable! The moment I opened the door, the fatigue of the journey was instantly cured. The room is clean and tidy, and the layout is warm and comfortable. I especially want to praise the bed! It is moderately soft and hard. It feels like I am trapped in the clouds when I lie on it. I sleep without dreams all night until I wake up naturally. I love the shower room. The water pressure is sufficient and the water temperature is stable. The sourness after climbing the mountain is instantly washed away. I feel that every detail of the room is very attentive, and I feel very safe and comfortable.
👨👦 The boss is awesome and the service is so considerate! What touched me most on this trip was the owner of the B&B. She is super enthusiastic and responsible, and she is definitely not the type who takes money and doesn't care! What I am most grateful for is the pick-up service! Because we were not familiar with the local transportation, the boss took the initiative to ask about our itinerary. When we arrived and left, she drove us to and from the parking spots or bus stops near the scenic spots, saving us the trouble of carrying our luggage and finding the way. She was like a familiar old friend, caring about our needs at any time, answering all our questions, introducing the scenic spots, food, and routes in detail, and we had a lot of fun in the recommended places. If you have any questions or need help, you can find her, and she is very efficient!
In general, this homestay is definitely the finishing touch of this trip to Wangxian Valley. ”Fairy-like scenery + extremely comfortable guest rooms + butler-level boss service”, this combination is perfect! Highly recommended to all friends who go to Wangxian Valley, not for advertising, but really happy, worry-free, and reassuring. Next time I go, I will definitely choose this one!

From the moment we got off the bus, the boss gave us a warm welcome, helped us with our luggage, planned our itinerary, and even prepared snacks. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the response to problems is very fast. Thumbs up for the boss's service. The room is clean and fresh, and the location is close to the entrance of the scenic area, which is very nice. The price/performance ratio is quite high. There is not much traffic in the scenic area now, and I am having a great time~

TThipapatThe owner is very nice. We communicated via Wechat and the translation in the app helps the communication went through perfectly. The location is very nice as it's only 5 minutes drive to Wangxiangu and the owner was ready to drop us off and take us back just by texting him. We stay on the second floor. The amenities there are all we need. I like that there is a heater in the bathroom so that we don't get too cold while showering. The owner's mom took care of our breakfast. She cooked yummy dishes for us including hot vegan noodle soup which helps warming our body in a cold morning.
However, the bathroom's sink is clogged with something that looks like leftover or vomit...so we tried not to use the sink.
The worst thing of our stay is the transportation between Shangrao Station to the hostel. The owner offered us a pick-up and drop-off services which we will get a lower rate from the regular taxi service, so we accepted it. He didn't mention that it's going to be a shared ride until we found out ourselves that we needed to take a ride with 4 more people in the van, however, we're ok with that because of an affordable rate. Then we found it the worst riding experience in our life. As Shangrao is a small city with 2 lanes all along, the driver had always been trying to get ahead of the cars in the front and hitting his horn throughout 1 hour to the hostel which almost caused the accident. I was praying all the way. Nevertheless, on our trip back to Shangrao Station, the same driver took us there with his same style of driving and eventually an accident occurred! Our car was hit by another and we almost missed our train to another city. We almost had no doubt why we get hit Lol. The good thing is the driver called another car(with full of passengers) to pick up up to the station. We like the hostel but sadly we don't think we will ever go back to this city again...such a lift-time experience we got.

HhumblezThe hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning).
Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked.
The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through.
As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out!
If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.

GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

WWHUThis is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money!
The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing.
Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁
The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift.
Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍
The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes.
We liked it here so much that we booked a second night.
There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby.

TTae_wandererXiansu hotel is located right in the Wangxian valley which is really convenient. The hotel itself was beautiful and the room we got with the view of the mountains was impeccable. Everything was nice until late at night when we came back to the room and heard a group of tourists next door drinking and playing card so loud. The incident exposed the bad design of the room that wasn’t well-insulated and we could hear everything from our neighbor to the point that we had to knock at their door and asked them to be quiet at 2 am in the morning because we could not go to sleep and we had to wake up early to catch the train. The room didn’t have a phone we could call the front desk to report the incident plus it would take a long trip including up and down the hills to go to the front desk so we took care of the problem ourselves.
