Shangrao Maoyuan Xiangjian: 360° Mountain-view Vacation & Family-friendly Boutique Homestay

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out — especially from the lady who owns and runs the entire place by herself. It’s impressive how much care and attention she puts into everything. She was incredibly kind and constantly went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Whether it was offering assistance, checking in to see if I needed anything, or simply greeting me with a warm smile, her helpfulness made my stay feel personal and truly special. The fact that the hotel is run by one person made it feel less like a business and more like a home. There’s a warmth and sincerity in the way she takes care of her guests that you just don’t find in most places. The management overall was top-notch — professional, welcoming, and clearly committed to providing a great guest experience. The room I stayed in was spotless and very well maintained. I had no issues at all with cleanliness or comfort, which is always a huge plus when travelling. To top it all off, the hotel is set in a stunning location right beside a beautiful river, surrounded by spectacular scenery. It’s also just 10–15 minutes from Wangxian Valley, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. It’s rare to come across a place where you feel genuinely looked after, and this hotel absolutely delivered on that. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I’m in the area!

We LOVED our stay. The host was so lovely, brought us a basket of local mandarins and let us checkin at 8.30am. They also arranged a driver for us for 2 days. Breakfast was delicious and the location was close to the Wangxian Valley, and they offer a drop off and pick up service too which is great. Definitely would recommend. The views of the river and bridge are beautiful too

We enjoyed our stay at Wangxian Maoyuan Xiangxuan Inn. It is new and clean. The river view is peaceful and serene. The boss is very friendly, kind and helpful. He send and pick us back from the Wangxian Valley Scenic Area. Husband was not very well with stomach upset, the boss is so kind and cook noodles soup for him. I got to enjoy the noodles soup too. We thank the boss and wish him prosperity in his business.

Very clean, modern and convenient place. The room always big, with good view and good amenities. Small and cosy building recently opened/refusbished. Close to the river and in a quiet place. The hotel is located at a “dead end” of a road so very little disturbance. Windows can be open and aircondition. The room was clean and with a small place to sit and relax. Good space for gaming clothes and opening your suitcase. Lots of restaurants not fare away in this cosy little village. The owner was very service minded and friendly. He easily assisted. If you are a foreign traveller it’s easy to scan the QR code of the hotel and chat with the owner on WeChat with the translate function. We got a very good impression and felt very well taken care of. The location is also good. About 3 km from the valley and easy to assess with car. Super smooth. We can recommend this hotel is you are going to Wangxiangu.
