Hotels near Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Scenic Area in Shanghai

I stayed in a suite with two bedrooms and one living room, and overall I was quite satisfied. It's relatively new, quite clean, and decorated with cultural heritage. The living room has a coffee table, bookshelves, calligraphy and paintings. Although I don’t have time to read, I feel comfortable reading it. Customer service Xiao Gao is very enthusiastic and polite. Microwaves can heat up takeaways, which is great for sub-zero weather. The trip was great. Areas that need improvement: I don’t know whether it’s because the weather is too cold or the air conditioner is not powerful enough, but the heating stops from time to time while sleeping. Fortunately, the quilt is thicker and quite warm. The bathroom is relatively small and the room is large. In fact, the bathroom can be expanded by one square meter, otherwise it will feel crowded even when washing your face. The quality of the quilt cover is relatively good and the quilt feels quite comfortable. The white bedding looks quite comfortable. Not as fancy as the last one.

I brought my daughter and husband here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The first thing I was surprised when I arrived at Jingting B&B was that the environment, taste, culture, service, and attentiveness made me feel the boss’s careful management. I am also in the service industry, even if it is I have never been shocked by any good 5-star or 7-star hotel. Jingting made me completely moved and impressed. - A pot of tea, - a story; - a cat and a dog, and a comfortable lifestyle that made me put down my mobile phone and forget about work. The children played happily, friends gathered around the fire to make tea, roast sweet potatoes, eat jujubes, and talk for a long time; what kind of life do we want? It is recommended that friends in the service industry come here to experience it; it is recommended that friends of three or five must come here to get together; it is recommended that those who want to fulfill their filial piety to the elderly and accompany their children to grow up come here to check in; it is a worthwhile trip.

The shop owner is very enthusiastic. The overall environment of the B&B is very good. I am very satisfied with everything else. However, the sliding door I stayed in this time really feels a little lacking in security. The door gap is a little big, and you can see a little inside the house through the gap. Order outside. Fortunately, there is an electronic lock downstairs. I will consider other room types next time, not sliding doors. The store staff is very patient and enthusiastic, which is great!

Love our stay. Room was cozy and the host are very friendly Just some down part during winter - you need to wait about 20mins in between shower as the hot water runs out but it didn’t bother us much In the morning we were served wonton soup which we think is very nice and warmth Our first home stay in Shanghai was incredible Prime location 10minutes walk to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town

Had a wonderful Mid Autumn Festival trip to Ahn Luh Zhujiajiao, we spent most of our time in the hotel, it is so peaceful, the service is impeccable, everyone is sincere and went out of their way for us. Especially Alisa our butler, she followed up on us throughout our stay, and even on her day off to make sure we were happy. Joann from housekeeping was also great, as she made sure we had everything we need in our room. Love the sweet soup they served at 5 pm everyday 😀Definitely will come back, because of this experience will visit the other 3 Ahn Luh Resorts in China

The hotel looks very grand - it could do with a few minor repairs and a bit of a clean in places (mainly carpets) but it was lovely to look around and very spacious. We came in winter, so the pool was closed but there was no notice if this when we booked - it should have been mentioned, to save my daughter’s disappointment. The beds were very clean and comfortable, the towels were clean and we got a plate of fruit each day. The room carpets would benefit from a proper clean. The food in the restaurant was lovely and there was a great choice of food at breakfast. The Kid’s Zone was fun but needed a good clean too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall, we had a lovely time.

Really comfortable stay. Room was clean and well equipped (added perk of a bathtub :) ). It had a small balcony with a nice view. Breakfast had a huge spread of Chinese and Western options and was awesome. A special word of praise for the maintenance staff who helped with retrieving a charging wire (which I'd dropped behind the TV unit). Overall, great experience. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel is about 10 mins walk from the Zhujiajiao Metro Station on line 17 . Its about 40 min trip from the Hongqiao Railway Station (terminal station). Line 17 operates about every 7 minutes during the day and every 10 mins during the night. Therefore this line is not frequent as say as Line 2. I choose this hotel ,because it has an outdoor swimming pool and I wanted to explore a new area of Shanghai. Firstly the outdoor swimming pool was closed when i stayed at this hotel in (September 2023) - there was no water in the pool!. In September, Shanghai experiences temperatures well above 27 to 30C, so it bit premature to close the pool in September. Mid October would be fine. It would be nice if the hotel operator/owner could inform Trip.com, that the pool is closed. The room was very comfortable and nice views of the surrounding area with some historic homes. The Rain Head shower was great. Air-con were easy to use and functioned well. As to be expected in most Chinese hotels (which are not part of western brand) there is very limited English available from hotel staff, but with English translators on cell phones, this is not really an issue. There are several shops in the same street of the hotel, but unfortunately there is no Family Mart, no 711 or Lawson (common brands in China) However, there is small Family Mart at Zhujiajiao metro station. Many local restaurants nearby and KFC - about 10 min walk down the same street of the hotel. In this area, there is some evidence of historic homes and residences, which makes the area unique. Overall, the hotel represents good value for money and appropriate choice to explore the local historic area, but not downtown Shanghai (which is too far from this hotel)

The price of a five-star hotel and the environmental facilities are only three-star standards. To us, bathing in a hot spring is just the feeling of a public bathroom. Not as stunning as expected. My mother said that the air conditioner was okay, no noise, and the heating was better. The sanitation of the room is still acceptable. The general environment needs to go further. If you want to soak in hot springs, it is not recommended to come here. The advantage is that it is very close to the Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Scenic Area🌹

The hotel is very new, the rooms are clean and smell good, both children and the elderly like it. It is also very quiet and very close to the ancient town. There is an alley outside the hotel and you can walk directly into the ancient town. You can also visit the ancient town at night! Moreover, the hotel owner is very enthusiastic and provides welcome fruits. The breakfast is also very nice and can be brought into the room to enjoy. One more wordy sentence. I also gave tickets to Kezhi Garden, which is located in the ancient town and at the boating pier. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip and I look forward to coming again next time.
