Smooth check in, front desk answered all the questions I had. Hotel staff and cleaners were friendly. After coming back from a long day it was a good surprise that they gifted me mousepad after seeing I had a laptop for work. Asked for late checkout due to circumstances and got that smoothly as well, lady was also very polite. I would recommend this hotel from my experience

What we love - its central location, cleanliness, a lot of food choices during breakfast buffet, heated pool. We just had some concerns during booking and check in, it was not indicated that our room has no windows but the reception just gave us this room without windows. Due to winter, temperature control cannot be changed so it tends to be very warm.

Nice hotel with great service especially for foreigners that don’t speak Mandarin. High class. Heard the adjacent restaurant is great. Huge luxurious bathroom. Not the most modern decor but very nice. Only surprise was for a higher end place I couldn’t find any coffee or tea cups.

I was astonished by the exterior when I first arrived at Ôpartment. It has a sense of history in the building, surrounded by popular spots for city walk. My family and I were greeted by a fellow young man who offered to help our struggling hands with our luggage. Walking into the hotel, we encounter the modern looks of the lobby. By the registration counter, there is a table with coffee and cups for us to take away. I really liked the organisers at the back of the registration counter that holds room keys in each box. Going up the lift to our designated floor, the elevator door opened up to a gate, one that would remind me of the olden days, of Harry Potter, even. To gain access, we simply swipe our card at the side of the gate. It seemed as pets are allowed, we saw three dogs playing around at the hallway. It doesn’t smell bad so it didn’t bother us. The hotel room is very spacious and clean. There were magazines about the hotel, television, a kitchen with plates and bowls and utensils, a comfy bed, and of course the bathroom. As it is my birthday this April, a kind sister called Vicky who works there brought me a cheese cake. It was quite surprising to come back to the room to see a cake by the table. It was sliced into three pieces, just the right size for my mum, dad and I. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. While my mother checked-out our room, I observed the notebook they left on the table to the left of the registration counter. There was a mirror in front of the notebook, and a pen beside it. It is a notebook left for guests to write and draw on. I asked the staff if I could bring it up to the top floor, a bar with pretty interior designs, to draw on the notebook. So I did. The bar was probably closed, or maybe it is more popular by night, since there were nobody there except for one man who I guess works there. There were many wine bottles and flowers, plus a balcony with great view. I drew on two pages of the notebook, taking my time as they allow me to. When I went back down to show them my proudly done work, the staffs were all excited and shocked to the point they snapped pictures and even gave me a notebook of the same design as a souvenir. At last, we had to part and say goodbye. When the car that is supposed to pick us up arrived, two or three of the staffs (noticeably all of them are pretty young) helped us with our luggage and carried it to the car for us. I’ll have to say, this is one of the most unique hotel I’ve ever been to!

When I checked in, Starry was very kind. I asked for a late checkout and she gave it to me free of charge. I was also upgraded room free of charge which was very nice. I wasn’t overly sure on the amenities the hotel had (pool etc). The room was very clean with a lovely large bed. Good wifi, big TV, water in room, optional mini bar. I ordered some room service for lunch and it was very nice and came within a good time. All staff were very kind. I had a takeout delivered to the hotel and someone (I didn’t get her name) was very kind and helped me on her own phone to lick it up as I didn’t know how to do it. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, just out of People's square exit 9. The service and cleanliness is average. One thing we don't like is that there is no ramp for your heavy luggage at the hotel entrance. You need to lift up the luggage and walk on multiple steps before reaching the entrance.

the hotel was very location. The location was perfect since it was in the downtown of the city. The metro was very very close walking (i guess less than 5 minutes walking). the staff was very friendly with me. They helped a lot because in this hotel the staff can speak english very good. It is great to have such an all-season hotel in such a location. Although the room is not big, it is very clean. The service was perfect, and I found that there were actually two White Rabbit toffee 🍬 in the small box on the small coffee table. Although they were small, they were thoughtful. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and there were freshly made noodles. I ordered the Shanghai-style scallion noodles, which were also delicious. Good review!

Have to say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in! ! ! The hotel has an elegant environment and a strong sense of design! The mattress is very comfortable and I slept beautifully all night. The front desk male staff are friendly and friendly. The only downside is that the car parked at the door blocked me from pulling my luggage into the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. The room is not big, so it is just right for a person to live in a double room with a child. There is no need to worry about the child falling on the floor when sleeping. The location is very good, 7-8 minutes walk from the People's Square subway station, less than 10 minutes walk from the Museum of Natural History, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It's also a 10-minute walk to Lujiazui and Jing'an Temple subway stations. I originally wanted to give it 5 stars, but the bed sheets were not changed cleanly on the last day. I hope to pay attention to it in the future.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right around the corner from Nanjing Road and the central shopping area where you can walk down and hit the Bund or Wai Tan. I got upgraded to a suite, and it was lovely, very clean with a very comfortable bed. I used the gym as well, which is very important for me, they have a fantastic gym, with lots of space and new facilities! It is a well-run, very comfortable hotel, worth the stay.

This is a really comfortable apartment in a great location. Transportation to everywhere is made really easy with the West Nanjing Rd subway just across the street. There are 24h convenient stores and a large western supermarket nearby for grocery shopping. The inside is spacious and has a decent kitchen and a convenient set up of a bathroom, large closets, and 2 large bedrooms with king beds. We were here for a work trip and stayed for about a week and the amenities are complete to serve the apartment as a home away from home. The host is very responsive and accommodating and she also provides clear instructions for check-in/out and for the usage of all the equipment in the apartment. Thank you, Faye. Highly recommend and will come back again in winter to try out the floor heating!

Is another kind standard of China style hotel. What you needed from 5 stars Hotel in room all have, same same but different. Sharing elevator entrance in business building make the hotel look messy and cheap. Although price is slightly cheaper but not much compare to the hotel nearby. Room are noisy that you can hear sound from corridor or neighbours, when step in I saw a hearplugs on the table, then I understand why they put that there. I will not stay this hotel, if I back to shanghai again. Toilet never clean well left over stuffs, body foam never top up empty.

When you arrive at the front desk, you will be given a cup of honey water or ginger tea. The sense of detail is great~ Late night porridge is available every night from 9:30 to 11 p.m. Free porridge and snacks are provided. I will bring my parents here around the Chinese New Year, and I plan to book this place then. Really highly recommended
