the home inn is very clean and comfortable, close to the metro and the rooms are quite spacious. and there are laundry facilities which are very helpful. the officers and staff are very friendly, thank you very much to the staff named Sun Zhang Peng who chatted a lot with me and helped me set up my card I. If I go to Shanghai again, I will definitely go back there. Thank you

This hotel is very near to Da Shi Jie mrt station which is about 4mins walk from Exit 6. Conveniently travel to city center of Shanghai in just few stops away or by interchange of stops to other tourist places. Staffs are friendly where they allowed us to kept our luggages while we are away to other places due to our flight is departing at 11pm. On the 2nd night of the stay our room 825 had second hand smoke smells which is very awfully disgusting to smell and I did called the customer service to ask for room exchange, and on the next day we were moved to room 925. Really thanks on this.

Excellent hotel. Nice room (photos are accurate). Fast elevator. Breakfast limited choice; I prefer to go out for breakfast. I've been using this hotel for business travel as well as personal travel with my family. Metro access within easy walking distance (5-10min). Xiantiandi and HuaiHai Road on walking distance for great variety of restaurants and shops. Friendly service desk. Special thanks this stay to Tina Tao!

Overall, I liked it. + I was so impressed with the size of the bed , it was so big. (Later I realised it’s attached with 2 single beds) + The bathtub was clean. + Location: close to subway station line 10, easy to approach from hongqiao railway station. And the “new world” is near by. - Only one elevator was available. You need to wait a lot longer if you just missed one. - My room was including breakfast, but the staff didn’t explain where /when. I thought it’s going to be the first floor, as I saw some dining room like section the way to the elevator. but accidentally found it on 2nd floor next morning when I was getting there.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Service was 10/10. All the staff were super friendly & helpful from the bellboy, receptionists, housekeeping, maintenance person. Breakfast was great, staff even allowed us to takeaway when one of us couldn't go down for breakfast. Free usage of the laundry room. Once we couldn't get a taxi when we were out of the hotel, I texted one of the staff to assist and he was super helpful. Special thanks to Mr Edward & Mr Chao for your excellent service. There is a small shopping mall right across the bridge that has nice restaurants with reasonable prices and delicious food. The train station is quite a distance so I had to take taxis to go places since it's winter & pretty cold. The staff doesn't speak English so be prepared if you don't speak Chinese. It was a memorable first visit to Shanghai.

Check-in wasn’t a good experience, but the hotel was okay after that. When I first checked-in, the room key cards I was given didn’t work, which was frustrating as the room was one of the furthest from reception. This meant I had to go all the way back for new keys after a long day. I just wanted to relax! Then the second room I was given didn’t match the photos on Trip.com, in particular it didn’t have a real window, looking over the dining area rather than outside. But when finally settled into the third room, the stay was okay. It was supposedly an upgrade, but it only looked like the room I had booked. The location is the big plus: right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street which leads to the Bund, both iconic locations that are great to visit. I didn’t have the breakfast as there were no spare seats, so I went to a nearby McDonald’s instead. The hotel needs to enlarge its dining area.

What we love - its central location, cleanliness, a lot of food choices during breakfast buffet, heated pool. We just had some concerns during booking and check in, it was not indicated that our room has no windows but the reception just gave us this room without windows. Due to winter, temperature control cannot be changed so it tends to be very warm.

Hotel is very close to subway station (80m) from gate 1 or 3, walking distance or 1 subway station away from many iconic tourist attractions and eateries. Staffs were very friendly and attentive, we were only staying for 1 nights, but requested hotel reception to take our parcels a few days before our arrival, so we can pick up our stuffs at our last stop and they were happy to help, thank you. Hotel also provided kid slipper and toothbrush upon request, gave our girl favourite pinky colour pack. Hotel itself were transformed from old building, but noted it was newly renovated and vintage looking from outside, but modern amenities inside, also have modern automated toilets (like Japanese hotels). Will definitely recommend family or other visitors to stay here. The only minor downside is too few seats for buffet breakfast, we were asked to squeezed in with a few other people, but still acceptable, staffs cleaned the table very quickly and find the seats for us within 5 minutes.

The staff kindly gave us a Mingzhu tower view for our 2nd night here - it was a tough request but they made it happen! Thank you Jay! Location: 5/5. Located directly on Nanjing road where all the food stops and only 12 minutes walking distance to the Bund! Food: 10/5 The breakfast selection here is SUPERB. They have cold dishes like salad, hot food such as noodles and pan fried buns and local snacks such as fried rice cubes (?) Ci fan gao. I booked this hotel stay to celebrate my mums 65th birthday and the hotel staff are so sweet and organised a beautiful chocolate cake for us. Honestly, this hotel is fabulous and is worth your money!
