Novotel Hotels in Shanghai

I travelled to Shanghai with my mum and we loved this place, the ladies in the reception are very helpfull and friendly, they can speak English and recommend the places to visit, they gave us the map as well. Normally, we can check in at 2 pm but if the room is available, you can check in early. On my day, the room is ready around 12 pm. The room is very big, with autometic toilet which is convenience for Thai people. The room is very clean. We had breakfast at 50th floor with panorama view. We can see the oriental peral and Shanghai tower from 50th floor. There is a self-loundry in 30 th floor, no need to add detergent, it is included detergent and softening. The hotel is just away 600 m from metro Pudong avenue station. However, we took Didi every day. There is a small mall if you want to have some foods, Aldi, manner coffee and more.

We stayed two nights to go to Disney and the Wild Animal Park. The shuttle bus was available for both places, so it was very convenient using the bus. Also the room was very clean and kids-friendly, so my kids didn’t want to leave the hotel, especially after using the playground at the first floor. We booked two different rooms because one type of rooms has only one night left, but the lady at the front desk let us use the same Panda room for two nights, considering our inconvenience changing rooms. We enjoyed staying in this hotel and appreciate the kind service.

The hotel is very new, affordable, clean and standard, breakfast is both Chinese and Western, the surrounding environment is also very good, restaurants and supermarkets are very close, there is McDonald's downstairs, etc. When checking in, the front desk Xiao Li was very thoughtful to help me upgrade the room. The room is super large and the view is first-class. Next time I go to Qingpu, I will continue to book Novotel.
