"The room was spacious and generally clean, but the soundproofing wasn't great. I was staying overnight for a connecting flight and was woken up by people talking loudly in the hallway. It's possible they were just very loud, though. The room had a window, but it faced the bathroom – luckily, there was a curtain to block it out. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, but when I tried to call the number they gave me from the airport, it was constantly busy, so I ended up taking a taxi myself. The drop-off service to the airport, however, was perfectly fine; I took the hotel's car."

"The location is a bit far from the nearest subway station; it took us about 25 minutes by taxi to get there. However, since our flight home was at 8 AM, this was the closest option to Pudong Airport. Plus, there's a free shuttle bus early in the morning to take guests to the airport.
Overall, the experience was good. It would have been even more perfect if the lobby manager had smiled a bit more while providing service. 😊"

"The hotel is a bit far from Pudong Airport. The shuttle to the airport runs hourly by bus, and it takes about ten minutes to get there. The hotel's hygiene and facilities are pretty good. I was given a room on the first floor, very close to the lobby, so I could just open the door in the morning and head straight to the airport shuttle bus."

"The hotel is located on the 2nd floor without any lift.
Very clean room with a powerful shower spray bathroom. The bathroom has a modern and nice warm toilet seat and it's self flushing. The decor of the room is very nice with a beautiful painting. It has a kettle but without any coffee/tea beverages.
Smooth and prompt check-in especially when we arrived about 1am from Pudong Airport. The lady receptionist directed us to our room promptly as we were rather tired.
Our room faces a shady river and it's quiet. However, during the day, there is some ongoing construction in the next section of the building from about 9+ am. But by then, we are out exploring Shanghai.
There are plenty of eateries nearby which are very good.
The nearest Zhongshan Road Metro station (Red Line #1) is about 800m away.."

"Right next to Jinjiang Inn. After checking into my room, I noticed a loud AC unit outside. They changed my room, and I heard the front desk repeatedly remind the cleaning staff to put everything back as it was and to definitely change the sheets and duvet covers if anyone had sat on them. I was quite satisfied with the hygiene and service, and I'd come back again if I need a place to stay."

One of the staff specially took us to explore the different types of room so we can decide which room type to take which we really appreciate!! The location is so accessible!!We can reach the main tourist attractions like Xintiandi, Yuyuan and Nanjing road within 10 mins by their cab Didi and costs less than USD$3 only and the pick up and drop off point is just in front of the hotel which is so easy for us!!They even offer free popcorn and drinks and amenities like travel sunblock cream, soap, floss, body cream throughout our stay!!All of the staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional — always greeting us with genuine smiles and going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable such as helping us to book ******* delivery and helping us to collect our taobao parcels.
Our room was spotless clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared such as the toilet seat with a warm function. Every detail, from the amenities to the housekeeping, reflected the hotel’s high standards and care for guests.
Special mention to the front desk team— their friendliness and helpful recommendations truly made our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, highly accessible location and affordable pricing. the price of each night is only usd $70!!!!you cannot find this kind of highly rated hotel with this pricing in Shanghai!!Can’t wait to return again soon! MM62104****Service: The front desk lady was really enthusiastic and proactively helped with our luggage, and explained the shuttle service. Having a shuttle is super convenient; you don't have to worry about anything, just catch it on time.
Environment: We booked a family room, and our child absolutely loved it. They had their own private space that felt both safe and cozy. There were even building blocks in the room, so they could play quietly every day for a while. When we left, they said they wanted to stay here again next time.
Outside the hotel, there are simple restaurants, BBQ spots, and a supermarket, which is quite convenient. Every night we came back, we'd take a stroll around the entrance.

GGuest UserThe room was more spacious than I'd imagined, and the view from the window was quite nice, with Jing'an Temple visible in the distance. The walk-through area in the room was just wide enough to open a suitcase, leaving little extra space, but it was perfectly fine for a solo trip.
Soundproofing in the room wasn't great; noises from outside the door were quite clear (though this is a common drawback of hostels). This might be an issue for light sleepers.
Transportation is incredibly convenient, as it's only about a three-minute walk from the subway station, which really helps save on travel expenses.
**Cleanliness:** The shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean; an attendant would clean them immediately after each use, which was very reassuring.
**Service:** Upon arrival, a staff member showed me to my room and introduced the facilities. The lobby offered quite a few amenities; I recall there was an ice machine, and I even borrowed an umbrella from the front desk when it rained during my stay.
Overall, I was very satisfied and would happily choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful experience at MIA!! This is my second time staying here this time I brought my boyfriend who absolutely loved it. The most value for a very big room, it had an extra space with a couch and a gorgeous view, and we loved the bathtub. Above all, the staff was fantastic and they took good care of us. 10/10 would come back!

Eeolhc2My stay at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong SH was truly exceptional. The whole team speaks excellent English, and everyone was incredibly attentive.
The breakfast was outstanding: delicate wontons, high-quality fresh products, excellent fruits, perfect pastries and great detox juices. I also loved the fact that you can actually see the chefs cooking and interact with them, it creates such a cool and authentic atmosphere.
I also had dinner at the restaurant, which was good, although the wait was a bit long.
A special thank-you to Molly, who was absolutely amazing throughout my stay, extremely professional, kind and genuinely dedicated.
Thank you as well to Mike and his concierge team, who were always pleasant and helpful.
I’m also very grateful to Monica, Director of Spa and Fitness, who saved me by helping me get ready in time.

2202030****The hotel is about a twenty-minute drive from Pudong Airport. You don't need to book in advance; just contact them directly after landing. We waited about ten minutes for the pick-up. Since our flight arrived early, the hotel arranged an immediate check-in, which was very thoughtful. However, there's only one shuttle to Disney in the morning at 7:20 AM, which is too early, and the frequency is too low. So we ended up taking taxis ourselves for both days, which was very inconvenient. The bedding was rich and comfortable, and the breakfast was simple but had everything you'd need. I'd recommend it.

开开水ksbooked a room at the Banyan tree for my parents who were visiting to celebrate their wedding anniversary and upon check in we were greeted by the most lovely staff who quickly helped my parents check in and upgraded us for free to a nicer room. It also had prepared Rose petals within the room and some desserts to celebrate their wedding anniversary which was very appreciated. The room was unbelievable and the view alone made the whole experience worth it. My parents absolutely loved their stay and couldn’t stop raving about the service of all the workers as well. we had some items that my family were unsure if we could bring onto flight, and the hotel staff even went out of their way to call the airline to confirm for us. hotel amenities also great, huge gym and pool with multiple spas, and gym having a reformer pilates machine too. we’ve been to many hotels within shanghai now and this is by far the best , with strong service, a modern room and incredible view. all the photos of the view in the review were taken from within the room, better than going out to the bund!

GGuest UserThe hotel location is very good, very close to the Bund facilities are perfect, there are free laundry and gym, near the hotel 100 meters there is a 24-hour nucleic acid point is very convenient. The hotel room was quite new and large, and the hotel also had free snacks and fruit. The front desk, Xiao Ding and Xiao Deng, served us well, added WeChat and helped upgrade the room, The problem was resolved in a timely manner. Excellent review. We will continue to enjoy it next time we get a chance. It was a very happy experience. Since we are foreigners, we didn't speak the language, but the staff was kind enough to help us with the problem. We stayed for a family of eight, We arrived late, and the girl at the front desk was very enthusiastic to help us with our queries. Most pleasantly, there was a small bar on the 16th floor which was very quiet, with songs and a night view. There was also a lot of Chinese and Western breakfasts. Overall, staying at this hotel will not disappoint.
