The hotel has a good value for money. The room was upgraded for free, which was a pleasant surprise. I felt really attracted. An'an at the front desk had a very good service attitude. Thumbs up 👍. The hotel has complete and comfortable facilities. I like it!

My favourite hotel in Shanghai. Great location, fair price, nice and clean, and a very solid breakfast spread that changes slightly every day. When my international credit card didn’t work when checking in, they allowed me to just pay the first day upfront with cash, then I paid for the rest of my stay the next day. The starbucks downstairs doesn’t hurt either. My only very small complaint is that the clothes dryers aren’t great, so I resorted to hanging clothes up in my hotel room. Also, another small complaint, the AC only blasted hot air, but it was already hot upstairs. No option to blast cold air, or just regular outside temperature air through the AC system. This was basically solved though by opening the outside windows and front door to let the air pass through. It was still a little hot though. In the summer, I imagine it is the opposite problem, only cold air can be pushed through the AC system, which might not be ideal if there is a freak cold day in the summer.

In general, staff don’t speak and read English, even basic words for hospitality industry. When I first showed my booking to receptionist to check in, she didn’t check at all and told me to ask customer service in Trip. I guess she didn’t understand the booking I had shown her. So highly recommend to show chinese version of your booking to smooth check-in process. Except language barrier, everything (facilities, staff attitute, cleaness,…) is almost perfect.

Location is not that great if you are going to Shanghai for holidays. Probably a 10-15 minute walk to the 2 nearest subway lines which not the best in cold winter. Not much food and things to do within 5 minutes but the good stuff are all 20-30 mins walk away. I see many long stay guest so you can also use the kitchen if you want to cook there. This wont be like a hostel where you can hang around in the common areas and get to know people as I say many long stay guest which are families. Room is a little cold so you need the heater on for a long time.

I know the situation at the moment meant we couldn’t eat in the dining room, but the food on offer was cold, had obviously been there a long time and there was hardly any left. We went quite early in the morning too. The plug in our bath tub also couldn’t even close properly so would obviously not stay full for long. Our duvet smelt of smoke too.

The first time I saw the inconspicuous appearance, I crossed the flyover, and it was Line 9 that was Sun Moonlight. You Hema Xiansheng. Downstairs is convenient for the whole family to eat. Sparrows are small and have all internal organs. There are clothes hangers. Hair dryers. , Of course, the room is with an inner window. I stayed here for several nights. Although it is a small hotel, the girl at the front desk has a good service concept and praised her; and the aunt who helped with the cleaning also showed that she was very serious and responsible. The hotel is clean and has the basic necessities that are needed for a trip to the city centre. The staff were friendly and ensured we had enough water or toiletries on a daily basis. The room was cleaned daily and prepared with fresh towels for daily use. A wonderful choice for affordable accommodation.

It took me 30 minutes to check in. And when I went up to the room, it wasn't cleaned, so I waited in the lobby for another 15 minutes. I saw a cockroach the size of my thumb while taking a shower at night. The soundproofing and bedding were fine.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Assisting me in ordering food delivery, ordering didi (cab/taxi) and also with my luggages. Special thanks to the very thoughtful house keeping lady, I think her surname is Fang, who is on duty from Dec 4th till 9th on the 11th floor. She put in extra effort and try her best to help my colleague from Philippines even with language barrier. Love the location as well, very near the subway station, beautiful surroundings during Autumn, a lot of locals and non local restaurants. Convenient location.
