This guesthouse is the ultimate in convenience for exploring Shanghai, the location is absolutely unbeatable! I initially chose this guesthouse purely for its location, and after staying there, I found the transport convenience far exceeded my expectations! It's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and it's a dual-line interchange, meaning direct access to Lujiazui to see the 'three-piece set' (iconic skyscrapers) and the Bund for a breezy walk along the river, without constant transfers. For early morning high-speed trains, the subway connects directly to Hongqiao Station, saving the anxiety of getting stuck in traffic with a taxi – so perfect for those on a tight schedule. The surrounding amenities are just as impressive as the transport. There's a convenience store right at the subway exit, making it super easy to grab a bottle of water or withdraw cash. Within a ten-minute walk, there are several snack shops popular with locals, allowing you to discover authentic deliciousness without needing to consult a guide. After a night out sightseeing, the streetlights along the way are bright, and it's just a short walk back to the guesthouse, giving you a great sense of security. This trip to Shanghai, I didn't waste any time on commuting, all thanks to the guesthouse's prime location. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is very clean, with a great location near Line 14 station, and the surrounding area is open and quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive, even providing foot baths and bedtime tea in the evening. The breakfast is delicious with a good variety of dishes. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

I stayed here with my daughter. It's very close to the subway station, and there's a shopping mall right across the street, making dining and transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel's overall environment is also excellent. The only downside was that our room window faced an alley and couldn't be opened. However, I want to commend the housekeeping staff, especially the auntie who cleaned our room – she was wonderful and very meticulous. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. Overall, every staff member we encountered was warm, polite, and provided excellent service. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

The hotel staff were warm and attentive. I even had some herbal tea while checking in at the front desk. The room facilities were complete and comfortable, very clean, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the executive lounge and is genuinely one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. The room was flawless, the staff despite the language barrier were incredibly lovely and kind and the view we had of the city was like no other. Breakfast was very nice and is a close distance to any of the major tourist attractions. We will certainly return back him when we come back to Shanghai!

The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent. The complimentary laundry and tea services were a nice touch. I chose this hotel for my business trip because of its great value for money. The environment is pleasant, and there are plenty of dining options downstairs, which is very convenient!

Staying at the Heye Hotel on a high floor offers a view of the Huangpu River, and they even provided tickets for the Oriental Pearl TV Tower's two spheres. My mom and I had a great time! For this value for money, you won't find anything better in Lujiazui. The bar on the 30th floor also offers a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower – I wish I had known sooner! I'd definitely come back again; I'm very satisfied. Those two tickets for the spheres were such a great deal. The breakfast was good. Each stay includes two tickets to the spheres for sightseeing: perfect!

It was raining during my stay, and when I entered the room, there was an unpleasant odor. The front desk immediately arranged a room change. However, the second room still had a smell, which I presumed was due to the weather. Housekeeping then came to deodorize it, and that resolved the issue. Other than that, everything was perfectly satisfactory, with no other complaints. So, I'm still giving it a full rating.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, with a wide-angle floor-to-ceiling window offering a great river view. The soundproofing was excellent, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a good night's sleep. The amenities were thoughtfully detailed: USB charging ports, complimentary mineral water and beverages, a dry and wet separated bathroom, and even a welcome fruit basket. It's perfect for couples or vacationers, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Our stay was fantastic! Christine at the front desk was super friendly and efficient with the check-in, and she even gave us a customized hotel fridge magnet. However, the staff at the ground floor service desk were completely unhelpful and seemed clueless about the hotel's surroundings. Yet, I noticed that when a foreign guest was leaving, a female staff member was very enthusiastic, walking them to their car and bowing repeatedly. On my way back, I asked the same staff if there were any local breakfast spots nearby, and again, she couldn't tell me anything, simply telling me to look it up online myself. It's really hard to believe that after 25 years, this kind of discriminatory treatment still exists; it's like they've been kneeling for so long they can't stand up straight anymore. Also, the hotel bathroom doesn't have a ventilation system, but the view is beautiful.
