Shanghai Minhang District Hotels

Arrived midnight, check in smooth and receptionist kind to see we were tired gave room near elevator. Friendly and stayed overnight before heading out 8AM for my train. Overall it is worth it if you need to stay night or frequent use as a place to stay while u explore the surrounding or town. About 8to10mins didi ride to train station. Very thoughtful to have ear plugs etc. I am not light sleeper but this is thoughtful for hotel to prepare. And reception gave my kid a key chain as farewell gift when checking out. Overall recommended for price point and services offered.

The Hotel was easy to find, you just step out of the car and there you see it.  The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Me and my family we were in a frustrating situation, they handled our situation very well. No unnecessary drama just professionalism. Soo impressive. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We were travelling with twins on strollers and we didn’t struggle to store our luggage. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Even though the statf of the hotel hardly speak english but with app tool like wechat they understand and helped us for some of our personal needs. The room is very clean, neat and spacious. Also the gym is close to the restaurant. I will recommend this to my friend and definitely will comeback again.

The bedding is clean and hygienic, and the whole house intelligent voice control is quite interesting. Although the breakfast is simple, it is also hygienic. The Hongqiao Airport high-speed rail pick-up service is very considerate, and it only takes more than ten minutes to get to the airport. This is really friendly for late arrivals and early rises, saving a lot of trouble and time!

The service was exceptional—the staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. I loved the open-concept shower and toilet design, which added a luxurious touch. The interior decor was unique and stylish, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. The hotel’s facilities were impressive, especially the large indoor swimming pool—perfect for relaxation. The overall amenities were top-notch, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location is a bit far from the nearest station, so we had to take around 10 mins taxis when going out. However, once you reach the station, it only takes about 30 minutes to get to central Shanghai, which was convenient for sightseeing. Despite the slight distance, the hotel’s excellent service, beautiful design, and fantastic facilities made it worth it. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay!

The hotel is located in a bustling downtown area, making shopping, dining, and entertainment easily accessible. It provides a home-like experience for travelers, with fully equipped rooms that are tastefully decorated, fresh, clean, and tidy. The front desk staff, particularly Xiu Xiu, offers high-quality service. The breakfast variety is rich, and the hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. Additionally, there is free parking available. Overall, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

We had a very comfortable stay at Mercure Hotel. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are also very helpful and accommodating. This hotel provided the perfect stopover for us after a late night arrival before heading to Suzhou in the morning. 

what a amazing staff thy have mainly ”Ms. Sonya” she helped us midnight (our arrival) to settle us camly as w e had rought time reaching hotel. (Holiday Inn Hongqiou WEST & Holiday Inn Hongqiou BOTH are different hotels) - Sonya helped us to order food and gave amazing comfort to kids. Breakfast was not upto mark of the hotel and break fast staff need to improve. Pan Cake the basic was not available. Close to airprot.

In Shanghai, it can only be said that it is cost-effective. The hardware facilities are average, the software services are quite satisfactory, and there is no problem for normal living. Others cannot be too demanding. However, although the breakfast has not many varieties, it is of good quality and can reflect the exquisite taste of Shanghai.

DO NOT book this hotel unless you are planning to drive or take a taxi every time you enter the hotel. Getting to the hotel while walking is very difficult: It's about a 25-30 minute hike from the subway station (map apps will lead you through street that are not accessible) and requires a 15 minute walk that includes hiking up a steep incline through a parking garage and then a *very* long walk across blazingly hot parking lots (no shade) while dodging cars (no sidewalks). See pictures. The room itself was great, though! No cigarette smoke smell, new, and clean. I really wanted to like this hotel, but it's just too hard to access, lol.
