Shanghai Pudong New Area Hotels

The hotel was very clean and we had an amazing stay. The highlight of the stay aside from the amazing city of Chongqing was Dengrong one of the hotel staff. She was available whenever we needed help and was extremely nice and helped us arrange a great itinerary for our stay. Her hotpot recommendation was great! Will definitely consider booking again. Facilities: They have a washing machine with a dryer, which I didn't get to try as I arrived quite late this time. The TV offers live broadcasts with 30 channels, including major networks, which was sufficient. All necessary shower amenities are provided, along with both disposable and bathroom slippers. The showerhead even features multiple spray settings. The WiFi speed wasn't great, which might be related to the high occupancy – I noticed a lot of international guests during my stay. Service: They offer a parcel receiving service, but it seems they handle a lot of deliveries, so it's best to know what your package looks like to help them find it faster. The breakfast provided for airport transfers was sufficient to fill up on, with options like fresh eggs that you can fry yourself, freshly ground coffee, congee, siu mai, and fresh fruit. Cleanliness: Cleanliness was satisfactory. Environment: The area downstairs is packed with small restaurants, so you'll never go hungry, no matter the hour. Pudong Airport Shuttle Service: They offer a scheduled minibus shuttle to Pudong Airport; during regular hours, just contact them in advance, and it generally runs once an hour. The airport drop-off is a shared coach service with other hotels. It departs each hotel at XX:40 and arrives at the terminal on the hour. Make sure to manage your time accordingly. It drops off at Terminal 1 first, then Terminal 2. Disneyland Shuttle: I didn't get to try the Disneyland shuttle this time. My original plan was to arrive by 3 PM and use the free shuttle to scout the area a day beforehand, but my travel schedule was delayed. Maybe next time if the opportunity arises.

The hotel is pretty close to Disneyland, which is great for easy access. It can get a bit cold at times, and the room isn’t soundproof, so you can hear the fireworks and even catch a glimpse of them from the window. Overall, a good stay with a great location!they also offer free transportation to Disneyland if you wake up really early.

Tip top service, free shutter bus to Disneyland multiple schedules. Super friendly stuff, very flexible and help arrange a lots of things. Will definately come back again for next Shanghai Visit.

Hotel decor is a bit dated (see pictures, but it is very clean with first-class guest service. Morning breakfast buffet is decent. Location wise, Line 14 is closest, but Line 6 is also within walking distance (approx 10 minutes). Getting to the hotel from Pudong International Airport via train is quite straightforward. Take Line 2 and change to Line 6. The entire journey takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. There is a Lawson right next to the hotel if you need snacks or drinks quickly. Hotel provides free WiFi. The hotel provides free laundry service, you can pack a lighter luggage. Just call the front desk in the morning and a hotel service staff will come pick up your clothes for laundering and return it back to you in the evening. Now this is what I call first-class service! Overall, the hotel scores very highly in terms of overall value for money. I will strongly consider staying here again when I come to Shanghai, and I hope you will too.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a mixed experience with several significant drawbacks. The Positives: The hotel's fitness facility. The gym is open from 9 AM to 9 PM and is stocked with weights and reasonable exercise equipment. The Negatives: Unfortunately, the negatives heavily impacted my stay. The most noticeable issue was the unfriendly staff; almost all team members I interacted with were not welcoming or helpful, which created a cold atmosphere. In contrast to the description in the Trip app, their English knowledge was poor and they did not take the effort to use translate apps. The breakfast was another letdown. The selection is not very good and is overwhelmingly tailored to Chinese tastes, with little to no variety for international travelers. While it is cheap, the quality and lack of options make it hard to recommend. Additionally, there is no WiFi available in the breakfast room (and other spaces outside of the room), which is inconvenient for travelers who need to check emails or plans while having their morning meal. Conclusion While the gym and price are appealing, the poor service, unsatisfactory breakfast, and lack of amenities like widespread WiFi make it difficult to recommend. There are other hotels within walking distance that might offer a higher price-to-quality ratio and a more pleasant overall experience. I would suggest also looking at those alternatives for a more comfortable and welcoming stay.

Convenient hotel location. There is a subway nearby that goes directly to the airport. You can save on transfers. The rooms in one tower are a bit outdated, while the other has new renovations. The difference is not very significant. Very good breakfast. There is a swimming pool with a depth of 1.2 meters. A swimming cap is mandatory. I was satisfied with everything except the concierge service: some packages from Taobao were accepted by the hotel representative but never reached my room. A week-long investigation into ”where are my goods” led to nothing. If you don't plan to order a lot during your trip, you can't find a better option in this area. I decided for myself that next time I will stay with competitors. It's still important for me that delivered and accepted by the hotel orders don't go missing.

The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation and pleasant surroundings. Given Shanghai's recent hot and humid (sauna-like) weather, having a washer-dryer available for daily laundry was a huge bonus and greatly enhanced our trip quality. They offer a good variety of room types, and I definitely recommend checking it out. There was a pleasant herbal scent, and we didn't encounter any mosquitoes. The staff were very friendly. For anyone still considering, I highly suggest booking a stay here! They provide free shuttle services to the airport and Disneyland, and parking is also complimentary. The BnB was very clean, and the location is perfect for anyone visiting Disneyland. They offer free Disneyland drop-off and pick-up service, as well as airport transfers, which is super convenient. The property is also very family-friendly, making it a great choice for travelers with kids. The team showed great hospitality throughout my stay. There’s also a pool and a breakfast room, and the breakfast was lovely. The lady in the kitchen is very kind, and all the staff were incredibly helpful. It was also very convenient to order food through *******, and the bus stop is just 5 metres from the BnB. I truly enjoyed my entire stay. The room was exactly as described in the pictures. I had a very pleasant stay at Novotel Clover. The hotel is conveniently located close to both Shanghai Disneyland and the airport, which makes traveling very easy. They also provide a shuttle service, which is really helpful. The room was clean, and well-maintained. The price is quite reasonable considering the quality and convenience. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help, which made my stay even more comfortable.
