Shanghai Pudong New Area Hotels

Facilities: They have a washing machine with a dryer, which I didn't get to try as I arrived quite late this time. The TV offers live broadcasts with 30 channels, including major networks, which was sufficient. All necessary shower amenities are provided, along with both disposable and bathroom slippers. The showerhead even features multiple spray settings. The WiFi speed wasn't great, which might be related to the high occupancy – I noticed a lot of international guests during my stay. Service: They offer a parcel receiving service, but it seems they handle a lot of deliveries, so it's best to know what your package looks like to help them find it faster. The breakfast provided for airport transfers was sufficient to fill up on, with options like fresh eggs that you can fry yourself, freshly ground coffee, congee, siu mai, and fresh fruit. Cleanliness: Cleanliness was satisfactory. Environment: The area downstairs is packed with small restaurants, so you'll never go hungry, no matter the hour. Pudong Airport Shuttle Service: They offer a scheduled minibus shuttle to Pudong Airport; during regular hours, just contact them in advance, and it generally runs once an hour. The airport drop-off is a shared coach service with other hotels. It departs each hotel at XX:40 and arrives at the terminal on the hour. Make sure to manage your time accordingly. It drops off at Terminal 1 first, then Terminal 2. Disneyland Shuttle: I didn't get to try the Disneyland shuttle this time. My original plan was to arrive by 3 PM and use the free shuttle to scout the area a day beforehand, but my travel schedule was delayed. Maybe next time if the opportunity arises.

The hotel is pretty close to Disneyland, which is great for easy access. It can get a bit cold at times, and the room isn’t soundproof, so you can hear the fireworks and even catch a glimpse of them from the window. Overall, a good stay with a great location!they also offer free transportation to Disneyland if you wake up really early.

Our bathroom had a terrible wash basin (it is more than 3 feet high with a small basin that is set inside by about 6 inches). Brushing teeth is a challenge! Floor tiles are slippery if not for a bath cotton mat and rubber mat inside the shower area. There may be plans for a drying line soon? Fortunately, in the meantime, there is a laundry room for house guests. Breakfast - chinese continental with very limited choice. The only convenient and good service, is the shuttle bus to the airport (round the clock and punctual). It is an ideal place to stay since it provides drop off and pick up service (once in the early morning and once when the park closes) to/from Disneyland.

Great stay! The hotel is conveniently located right inside the airport, making it perfect for transit or early flights. It’s very easy to find and check-in was smooth. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant experience.

As expected of Shangri La, the service was great and top tier. Told them we were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a room facing the river and even helped to decorate the room?! Super good service and location (near Lujiazui and walkable to Oriental Pearl Tower). Near the Shanghai Tower as well. Friendly staff and clean place. Highly recommend. Totally recommend this appart hotel ! You have a nice well equiped kitchen, the breakfast was okay and the view from the 18th floor is beautiful. The only downside was the insulation as we had a very loud neighbour but after telling the reception they managed to deal with him so we could sleep. There’s a mall in front of the hotel that has it all and a well animated street nearby where you can find anything you want.

TLDR: The best hotel you can get in Shanghai Pudong area, no cap! Not sure how many stars it is, but it is surely a 5-star hotel for me. The hotel offers great value for incredibily spacious room, comfortable and high tech. The room is equipped with AI voice control, though you need to use Chinese language. The toilet seat is high-tech, it has warm seat just like Japan! The hotel offers free bus service to airport and Disneyland! They also have free-of-charge Disney 'tour guide'. If you'd like to, you can join the tour and he will lead you to play around Shanghai Disneyland, though they communicate through Chinese only. Furthermore, it provides complimentary supper every day, which is really a huge bonus! When you come back from Disney trip, this supper will be the one to fill your tummy up! Also, there is a secret menu, which is a foot spa. After a lengthy day back from Disney, remember to ask the staff for a wooden pile, which can be used for foot spa. They provide herbal sachet, just pour hot water in, and you can enjoy foot spa in your room! Staff is super friendly. You can easily reach to service desk by a one-click phone call from your hotel room. TLDR: 10 star hotel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visit this hotel for your Shanghai Disneyland!

Enjoyed the stay a lot! The room was very neat and nice. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff brought little snacks each day. They were also very helpful with every question and accommodating. It's a 10/10 hotel!

With the price I paid for I think is extremely worth it. They even provide airport transfer which makes it very convenient for us. Breakfast starts as early as 6am for guest checking out at 7am.. I think is very accommodating. The surrounding area has many restaurants, convenient stores and a big supper market to shop..

Have a very good stay here! Highly recommend especially if you are looking to go to Shanghai Disneyland. There is free shuttle bus to and fro! All the staffs here are also super helpful! Thank you to receptionist Ada for her excellent service too. Feel free to chat with them if you need any help! Some extra tips are: Contact them to get airport shuttle to hotel (either free or just pay RMB 179 from Pudong) Can also rent strollers to Disneyland for the hotel! Super family friendly! Will stay here again! 😆
