Our family had stayed 2 rooms for 3 nights on the 27-30, Dec 2024. Our stay were memorable and amazing. The rooms were so clean with very nice view, the breakfast line were delicious and has many variety of food both western and Chinese. The staffs were the most impressive, they could speak very good english and very friendly. The duty manager is very helpful too. I forgot the souvenir which was the Chinese embroidered traditional fan and just realized when I got back home, the duty manager was very enthusiastic and putting a lot of efforts in getting the forgot item back to me. Thank you so much, I’m really impressed and highly appreciated your hard work and kindness.

It was an overall pleasant experience staying here. The check in and check out process was quick. The location was very convenient. The shower was great and comes with a bath tub, hot water was consistent. Maybe just the heater wasn't, I think this is a common thing around Shanghai where they don't realli provide heating. And oh ya, they didn't realli tell me which floor the breakfast was at, but it was a minor thing. All in all a very comfortable stay.

This is an excellent hotel with amazing and friendly service and clean rooms. There is no smell of smoke anywhere--not in the lobby, hallway, nor room itself! Everyone is super friendly, ready to help wit luggage, etc. The only drawback (or possible benefit, if this is the type of bed you like) is that the mattress is a little hard (it is not a super soft mattress). The pillow menu that comes with the hotel is fantastic and you really get to feel like home because of it! Also, though it is in a lively area (the French Concession), it is also very clean and quiet! It is in a very central location with the South Shaanxi Subway station right outside serving lines 1, 8, 10, meaning you can get to the Shanghai Station (train) for any trips you want to go on very easily. It is also close to iapm if you want to shop; just down the street! One slight drawback is that in the room we stayed in, the water in the shower head does not get as hot as the water that comes from that faucet in the bathtub. I had to switch to a different room after my friend left and the water temperature was fine, so maybe it was just that room in particular.

Thankfully, I was able to find one pillow without the odor, which I used for the duration of my stay, but this issue really impacted my comfort. Lastly, for those sensitive to noise, I would not recommend this hotel. The cleaners were quite loud while working, and the room insulation is poor, allowing you to hear everything happening around you. For a hotel in this price range, I expected better soundproofing solutions. While the service and room quality are typically excellent, I believe these issues should be addressed to provide a better experience

Hotel was clean and sheets were extremely comfortable. Room air conditioner was cold and working well (unlike other hotels in china with controlled temperatures) which I really appreciated. Room cleaning service is great! View of the bund is wonderful, though I was only able to see the Oriental Pearl Tower as the rest of the major towers are blocked by the building right infront of the window. Privacy might be an issue as people in the opposite buildings could look right into my room and bathroom, especially at night with my room lights on. I could also clearly see whatever was going on in the opposite buildings if their curtains were not closed. That is a pity considering the large windows the hotel room had to offer, as the view is mostly blocked by buildings right infront. Though you can walk to Nanjing Road, cycling is more convenient and if thats not what you want to do, the walk may be a little far if you want to go there often. You can also walk to The Bund. Nearest metro station is Yuyuan Garden which is about a 15-20min stroll away. Overall a really good stay despite the privacy issue, if you dont mind that then this is a good choice if you would like to be further away from the hustle and bustle.

Had an amazing 6 nights stay at this hotel mainly due to its strategic location just beside the Nanjing pedestrian street. I brought along a reduced mobility elderly and this hotel has step free entrance thus making it easier for me to wheel the push chair. Breakfast has a large variety of food ranging from freshly made waffles, pancakes and breads to Chinese food such as congee and soupy noodles etc. Another plus point is the hotel concierge also helps to collects parcels. Otherwise there is a level 1 rack whereby the delivery guy will just leave the parcels there for the customer’s collection. It was an enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who prefers a fuss free experience.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times for business trips to Shanghai and it’s always a great experience. Big room, clean, staff are very helpful and friendly. I didn’t add breakfast to my room this time but it is worth adding if you stay, it’s a great spread. It’s also an easy walk to lots of great restaurants and bars including the French quarter. Highly recommend if you come to Shanghai for business or pleasure.

Nice hotel but unfortunately disappointing service. I booked a Pearl Tower view room and arrived at 2am to receive a different room and had to demand to staff to give me a different room. Even then the view was not satisfactory but what else can you do at 2am? The hotel was new modern, quite hidden away from the centre but was walkable to the Bund and Nanjing Road. Overall the staff tried their best but still left a sour taste after such high expectation

We had very good stay in this Pullman. Well located close metro, shopping mall and Tizinfang small streets. Front office was always very helpfull with any request i raised. Especially Zhou Kang help us to find for us one specific exhibicionismus in shanghai. Also Thanks to him we got our room earlier and it really helped us to survive our first day after long journey. Swimming pool is good one, reasonable size, just bring cap. We also liked Executive lounge with good variety of foods and drinks. Breakfast server till 10:30 also helped ;-). I can only recommend this hotel.

Parking is inconvenient. There are only about five or six parking spaces. It depends on your luck if you can park. The breakfast is terrible. There are very few things and there is nothing to eat. It is a new hotel and the air conditioning in the room still smells. Apart from these three points, I am very satisfied with everything else. It is very close to Global Harbor and can be reached on foot in 7-8 minutes. The waiters are very good, enthusiastic and proactive in solving problems. I hope they can improve the shortcomings.

The boss's warm hospitality swept away the fatigue of the journey. I put down my backpack and opened a 97 fighting game to recall my childhood. The stable performance on the high-end billiard table directly led to the purchase of dinner; the hen strolling in the backyard became the focus of the whole team. It was a pity that the ”beauty” I personally selected forgot to eat the meat 😭! Swimming crabs, a whole fish feast, a table of seafood, 5:30, full and full... Authentic guest house with interesting furnishings in a quiet area but very convenient for going anywhere in Shanghai. The metro is within walking distance, there are several good cafes with local cuisine nearby. When leaving the townhouse, you go straight to the market, where there are fruits and the freshest seafood. Upon arrival, there was a problem with leaving luggage, since we arrived at 9 am. Therefore, if you plan to leave your belongings until check-in on the day of arrival, please contact your host in advance. We succeeded, but since we don’t know Chinese, we lost a lot of time standing in the heat outside the house, since the hotel did not have a receptionist. In general, the owners quickly respond to all requests and requests, which is important in another country. Spacious room with high ceilings, the room has absolutely everything for a normal life, very good hair and body cosmetics in the shower. Iron, hair dryer and even mosquito repellent, although it was not useful. Snow-white linen and towels. Very nice place. Bottled water was waiting for us in the room, which was also a huge plus from the road! Another big plus is the opportunity to wash your own things. The only thing that created discomfort was the springs in the double bed, they were very noticeable, the problem was solved by covering them with two bedspreads, the owner should change the mattress.
