Nice recommendation. The staffs Shi & Xiao are very friendly. Provide free breakfast and drinks for both days as well as late check out. Would stay again next time.

The staff is multilingual, which is very helpful for foreigners. The room was quite small—I must have overlooked the details in the room description, so I was surprised when I arrived. However, the location is excellent, very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. There is a washing machine available, but no dryer. Overall, it met my needs and is worth recommending

A Fantastic Stay at Dayin International Youth Hostel in Shanghai!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dayin International Youth Hostel in Shanghai, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Location:
The hostel is perfectly located in the heart of Shanghai, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the city has to offer. It’s just a short walk from major attractions like people’s square and the surrounding area is filled with great restaurants, shops, and local markets. The transportation links are also excellent, with several subway stations nearby.
Accommodation:
The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained. I stayed in a dormitory, and it was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, and the hostel provides all the necessary amenities like fresh linens, storage space, and even charging stations. The common areas are also well-designed, with plenty of seating and a nice lounge where you can relax or socialize with other travelers.
Facilities:
offers a range of fantastic facilities. The hostel has a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, which is a great way to save some money while traveling. There’s also a free Wi-Fi connection throughout the building, which worked perfectly for me. Dayinn Youth Hostel was amazing! The place was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. As someone from Greece, I found it so easy to make friends, which made my experience in China even better.
Shi, Jing, and the team made my stay unique and memorable. The location is excellent, and the cleanliness is top-notch. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay!

Lovely hostel where you can pet the owner’s cat and meet travellers from around the world. Staff are also nice and welcoming, especially Shi Xu, I love her friendliness, gave me some little gifts upon checkout.

Place is very well located right next to the Nanjing pedestrian street, the beds are cozy with curtains and there’s enough space in the room to not feel cramped. There’s a tiny gym with weights up to 10kg and a squat rack with a few small plates as well. I loved the cleaning ladies as they were friendly and they kept the place tidy! The only downside is that you have to make your own bed when you arrive (put on the sheet/pillow covers) Overall good price to value ratio.
