The hotel boasts a prime location—just a short stroll from the water town and within easy walking distance of the Zhujiajiao metro station. Surrounded by shops and eateries, it’s a convenient base for a brief stay. Rooms are fresh and modern, though the building itself shows a bit of wear. The Chinese-style breakfast was simple but sufficient for a quick start to the day. Tucked away from the main road, the hotel features an interior courtyard that lends a touch of tranquility, shielding guests from traffic noise. Staff were generally helpful and responsive. That said, when we asked for assistance booking a taxi to Shanghai International Airport, they struggled to accommodate the request. It became clear that most guests are local and typically arrange their own transport via ride-hailing apps. Eventually, they secured a Didi driver willing to take us to the airport. That experience prompted me to explore Gaode Maps, which includes Gaode Taxi. From then on, I used it exclusively for getting around. We stayed just one night and found the hotel perfectly suitable for a short visit—comfortable, well-situated, and reasonably convenient overall.

Centrally located. Very quaint establishment. Staff are somewhat friendly. The room is good for a short stay. Linen and towels are clean however they do not offer pool towels, they were confused as to why I needed a separate towel for the pool. There's a cat that roams around the lobby areas and a dog that barks quite a bit during the day. Rooms are quiet and the bathroom shower is adequate. Bottled water supplied daily. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again when in the area.
