A cute modern hotel in the heart of Shanghai just off of People’s Square. The location is sublime, and the rooms (whilst perhaps having an odd layout) were clean and comfortable, with smart controls for lights and curtains. Breakfast, whilst having everything was a bit underwhelming but adequate. Bottled water being readily available was superb, and staff were courteous and prepared with a translator. Overall a very good experience, and certainly for the price it would be challenging to find anything better.

Great location. Just beside Holiday Inn. Many eateries around the hotel. Easy access to Nanjing Road and half an hour to The Bund if you walk. Great view of the city from the window of the room.

Breakfast is delicious, location is good too. Very near Nanjing walking street. I like the robot service who help to deliver my online order to me, got privacy.

We had an amazingly wonderful three-night stay. The room is perfect size with big windows. We were upgraded to a room with a spectacular view, over the Nanjing pedestrian street, which we enjoyed the night view so much! This is also a very well - managed hotel, with very friendly and helpful front desk staff . All staff including the breakfast crew and the house keeping personnel are very friendly and efficient, are always willing to help! The breakfast has big variety, was very satisfying! Having stayed in many hotels in China, this is the most welcoming and comfortable hotel yet, and an excellent value! We highly recommend the E Long hotel and will definitely return!!

Excellent location, clean room. The hotel hallway has a nice scent. I actually left a jacket in the room after I checked out. I called and the staff was able to find it and sent it to my friend in china.

We had a good stay at this hotel. It is close to everything. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly

The Elong hotel overall was a great place to stay. Unfortunately, the weather was subpar and it's 15 minute walking distance from The Bund was only highlighted during our rather wet trek. The amenities were wonderful with a strong shower and comfortable beds. In addition, there were flavored mints in the lobby and we received eyemasks and various products upon checking out. Unfortunately, it is difficult to connect to their WiFi without a Chinese phone number. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it quite comfortable.

The room was terrible - dirty, dusty with stains so it really felt dirty and old. Worse than I expected. The service however was good as they always tried to help. They don’t speak English at all which is a problem

The location is excellent, and the price is reasonable after the discount. I also like the style (simple and clean). What surprised me is that all the drinks including those in the refrigerate are free. There are two things I would like to mention for improvement purposes. One is the toilet stopped flushing one night, and I had to use the container to carry water from the shower to clean the toilet before it was fixed. The second is one light for the mirror in the bathroom cannot be turned off by the buttons in the wall. Instead it must be turned on or off by touching a small circle in the mirror. It is fine if we are told about it. However, all the lights are managed by the buttons in the wall except this one. When I found I could not turn off this light in the first night, it was one o'clock in the morning, so I slept with this light on. Overall, I had good experience with this hotel.

Location is very convenience. Close to subway. Easy to access from Airport.
