I stayed 1 night. The owners are very kind and helpful. Even with my limited Chinese ability, they made a great effort. They even gave me some sugarcane as I left.
The room was extremely clean.
The bed was more of a traditional hard mattress rather than soft, but I've slept on them before so it was not an issue. If you are not used to that style, you may not enjoy it. The air-conditioning was able to blow nice comfortable cold air which I really appreciated.
The 3 things I had a problem with... No bottled water nor filterd water in room, no coffee or tea in the room (though a boiler is in the room), and the curtains were not blackout/dark.
There are no shops close by, but if you come with a group of friends to get out of the city and have provisions, it would work.
They had mahjong tables and a little ktv setup.
This place has potential as a small group outing especially if they add a bbq grill and maybe a small counter to sell some snacks or beer (they might do it if it's a group bigger than 1).
It's close to the national park and flower expo park, but you need a car to get there.
