You book this hotel because you can see Jing’An Temple from it. Don’t book the breakfast. Go outside to see Shanghai and get it there. Don’t stay around at night time. This hotel is a place just to sleep and get into the city centre quick as possible.

The location is awesome. But the hotel is a bit dated and honestly not as par as other Ji hotel chain i stayed at. Room was quite small and lay out is awkward with bed pushed against the bathroom glass door. Breakfast was also average-ish and need to be improved. Staff were friendly.

The hotel is in a perfect position, very close to all the attractions. The rooms are quite old but they have everything you need. Recommended!

Three minutes from Jing’an Temple on foot - but hidden away (you have to go through a messy courtyard to find the reception). The good thing about the room is that the bed is on a separate floor - but the overall cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.

First floor room had tiny windows with no natural light. Very unclean corridor. Uncomfortable bed and bad bedsheets.
Shower pressure was very good and good soap and shampoo provided.
Recommend asking for higher floor room with better windows and cleaner.

It was very great for the price in that area. But ad someone who has been to many 5 star and 4 star hotels, it really is only just great for the price.
