Great place and friendly service. Efficient check in. Clean rooms. Suitable for foreigners. Wifi fast and functional. Requires pre pay and pay again deposit at hotel. Deposit refund was fast !

The reception staff are super accommodating, I received a free upgrade, my room was clean and tidy, although you can really tell the hotel is quite old, the paint from the walls are starting to come off, maybe a little painting job will make it look better. Over all a nice stay, the location is superb, lots of restaurant and shops around, plenty of options, highly recommended for budget travelers

I normally stay here when I come to Shanghai because its in an amazing location and great for the price! Good service and has many restaurants/things to do super close by.

My friend and I arrived at the hotel at 4 am because our flight into Shanghai was severely delayed. As soon as we got in the hotel staff tried to say we couldn’t stay there and that we didn’t have a booking even though I had my print out of the booking which stated that I had paid. We spent an hour talking to him and the manager and finally they ‘found’ our booking. Definitely don’t recommend staying here if you’re a foreigner.
