Sushi Select Hotel (Fuzhou Road, Shanghai People's Square)

Excellent service, fast respond, very clean and quiet. It is also quite near the city centre and have many store around👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

The hotel is really close to the main attraction around Shanghai, and we enjoyed our trip here at Shanghai.

Location is good very near to nanjing east road and the bund but services, amenities and cleanliness need to be improved despite the price

Booked a Stay in April 2025 for 5 nights. Stayed 1 night. 6th floor. The hotel room was clean, yet run down, and very dirty in hallway, and the bathroom walls in room. Walls in our room had peeling paint, the orange furniture you see in pictures was already tearing apart. beds are like sleeping on wood, but I did hear that China likes there beds VERY firm. Front area was in array, seemed like some renovations were started when you walk in, but to the left and then just left unfinished, not sure. Front desk lady was not willing to help in our translating English to Chinese. Young gentlemen later was more helpful, showing us a couple more rooms if we wanted to stay. It stated rooms were renovated a few years back, which may have been, but no upkeep on the walls, or furniture seemed to be. The bathroom in our room was clean, but old, dirty on walls and door, and obvious mold. that was not updated. We decided to leave after 1 night, got a full refund, and went 1 block away for same price, but better conditions. The hotel location itself is fine. I have no idea how people rate this anything above a 2. If they just keep it repaired, clean the walls, upkeep, etc, it will be fine. Unfortunately, I only have pictures of hallway, but that represents the hotel as a whole , if that helps.

Good location, walking distance to the Bund. The facilities are adequate. Basically a good hotel and reasonable price
