Jinchen Hotel

Hotel near Middle Huaihai Station. Great service.

Price was reasonable, and location was near most prime attraction. Room was spacious and clean. The only downside side was the wall are thin, and we could hear our neighbours' conversation at bedtime.

A good location hotel., MRT, Foods, Walkabout are just nearby, Room is very clean, but the toilet need some additional cleaning, Wall and floor with Black & Yellow stain, Reception need to do some friendly service. Overalls, This Hotel is GOOD,.

First booked room was terrible. I lasted 2 minutes. It was in obvious visual disrepair. When “repaired” they didn’t even bother to match the paint color. The bathroom was not private !! Why do this?? So I changed rooms and paid for an upgrade where the bathroom has privacy. I stayed here a year ago and was quite pleased. This time the room has under gone much trauma. The rain shower head was broken. The bathroom door handle and lock was about to fall off. The silicon on the shower floor was disgusting. The complimentary shampoo, body gel Has annoying foil tabs to open. Wet fingers in the shower made for an annoying experience. To top it off, the hotel staff locked me out of my room to force me to communicate with the desk clerk instead of politely placing a message in an envelope beneath my door. I was treated so disrespectfully!! I will never return here again. Beware!!

Superb location! Located at the heart of Huai Hai Middle Road - fast food chains, cafes and fashion labels are all within walking distance. Metro station is 2-3 mins walk away. The size of the room is slightly smaller for 2 adults and 1 kid, but not a big issue for a short stay since it’s clean and nicely maintained.

A lovely, quiet and nice hotel on the most charming street and neighborhood in Shanghai, we simply fell in love with the surroundings. The hotel itself has almost no facilities and it's a shame there's no washing machine for example, but other than that it's perfect! The rooms are large and spacious, very clean and the maids are very nice who take care of and sort out all the mess of the children. The beds are very comfortable, the linens are clean and the towels are amazing and big, the air conditioning also works wonderfully. There are two comfortable and fast elevators, the staff is very nice and tries to help (it's just a shame that their knowledge of English is so low) and especially the concierge is charming and nice. Definitely an excellent hotel in a wonderful location
