Poor things: - Security (more below) - Cleanliness (more below) - WiFi - Very poor bandwidth. - English communication - At this grade and price, none of the staff can speak English even fair enough to communicate with us. Almost all the time we need to use translators (mine is Google, theirs is a handheld machine). Good things: - Good location, not far from the walking street, not too close which could be noisy - Polite and attentive staff - Good amenities About security. One morning in our stay, a group of tourists mistakenly opened our room around 7AM using their keycard but could not entered due to the chain we latched the door. There were few people with a woman in front who first opened the door and she looked startled to see us in the room. Apparently they mistook wrong room. But to our surprise, HOW COULD THEY USE THEIR KEYCARD TO OPEN OUR DOOR? We went to the counter and asked the staff to look into the CCTV to find out 1) who they were, and 2) how come their keycard could open our door. We went back in the evening and got disappointing answer - from the CCTV which located 50m away from our door, the staff could only see a group of people gathered at the door and tried to open it but they could not tell exactly if the guests could successfully opened it as the door was chain latched which made the door could be opened merely an inch so could not be clearly seen from the footage. The staff convinced us "They were another guests in the hotel but don't worry, they could not enter your room because we have very strong security" which was definitely opposite to what we witnessed by our own eyes. Instead of investigating this seriously why the keycard was linked to more than one room (human error?), they tried to buy us off with free breakfast voucher. So much to our disappointment. About cleanliness. The room looked superficially clean but in fact very dusty and smelly. There were twin beds for my niece so she slided one to stick with another to become one big bed. Immediately after the process, lint and dust blew up in the air and spread all over the room. This resulted in we breathed the dust and lint and coughed the whole night. Later we took closer looks to other furnitures, they all full of dust and lint beneath. This tells us that the cleaning process was taken very superficially. Another thing was the smell. The toilet was smelly with urine all the time even the room had just been cleaned. It must've never been cleaned thoroughly but only the bowl (not the seat, under the seat, the edge, etc.). Overall, not impressed, not worth money paid.

The location is perfect just steps away from Nanjing Pedestrian Street and close to all the main attractions. The staff were approachable and very helpful, and the room was comfortable.
