Kempinski The One Suites Hotel Shanghai Downtown Reviews

This is a great hotel all around! Beautiful lobby and decor and room is large and clean. Location is right next to HKRI Taikoo Hui and is a great spot to walk to Nanjing West Road to see all the malls and shops. Dorian and his team delivered great service everywhere i see from check in, to breakfast, to getting a car, to check out. All around a wonderful experience and will recommend to friends for business trips for sure.

Family room was big and clean. All necessity household equipments were available. Western breakfast was good and the staff was nice and helpfull.

A clean hotel with very generous space in the room—I was upgraded for free which was a nice touch. The Rosemary toiletries, huge shower and tub, Nespresso machine, and free mini bar were all appreciated. The view (I was on the 9th floor) wasn’t the best but overall the room was excellent. I would definitely stay there again!

A excellent choice if you want to be at central location in Jing’an district. Room are spacious, clean with almost with every amenity you expect. Breakfast is good with both western and Chinese options. Location is perfect, with many key tourist landmarks within 3 km range.

Service excellent, staff super friendly eapecially housekeeper Lisa. We will come back again .

As soon as we arrived at the hotel lobby, there was no one to help put things down and carry things into the hotel, after we checked in we were busy helping. We just checked in and the room card followed, because the room key ran out, after a few minutes I was in the room and finally I was given the room key card. and the bathroom hasn't been good for a while, maybe the hotel is old. The breakfeast also has few choices for the buffet, and the main menu has to be ordered, and it takes a long time to come out, a bit disappointing. As soon as we checked out, we wanted to get our suitcases into the car and no one helped us, and after the suitcases were loaded we didn't want to help, the service of a star hotel like Kempensky was very embarrassing, it made Kemspinky's name bad, so I don't recommend it because the hotel price is not comparable because service like a 2 star hotel, not like a 5 star.

Solid location as usual. Honestly, the service is now lacking… No one seems to care you’re there - used to at least someone saying good morning/afternoon - notta. Front desk staff are at least efficient. And the shower changes temperature over and over - either Hot or not.

Exceptional hotel. Excellent service and great location. Would definitely visit again. Recommend for a wonderful Shanghai visit.

In a nutshell, stay was good and comfortable, house keeping was thoughtful, she left a note with good wishes and reminder to drink more water due to hot weather…. she’d left extra water bottles. Breakfast variety is ok but not to the mark for the name Kempinski😊

Service by the front desk was just average. Perhaps the staff thought that we were only there to stay for 1 night. However we moved to another hotel and spent a few nights over there as we weren't impressed by the service staff. Breakfast was okay though, again limited selection but pancake was nice.

The hotel was very conveniently located and in proximity to many nearby office buildings. The suite was comfortable and spacious but with no frills. Great value for the money and would stay here again.
