Research always located in a heart of Shanghai right near the Nanjing pedestrian Street. Absolutely 10 out of 10 full location when approaching the hotel you can see that it is and obviously very old Building however it does have refurbished room so be careful which ones you book I indeed booked a refurbished room and it was quite New important to know that the rooms are quite small so if you have certain requirements for the size of the room, please take that into consideration. I would stay here again however it is not the most luxury hotel by any means the breakfast buffet is very average and located towards Chinese people and does not have many foreign options.

We had a fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza. The location is good and convenient. The room (especially the bathrooms) is cozy and modern. We arrived late at night and we have been upgraded from king premium to suite! Thanks to Isaac who facilitated this. He is very accommodating and he was able to explain everything clearly in English. We would also like to commend the lady in the storage section (forgot to ask her name but she is from Laos) who speaks fluent English and was very helpful and friendly to us.

love this hotel. we went on a special occasion and the hotel treated us pretty well. we truly love staff there. Also, the location is pretty good. near People Square station, in the heart of Nanjing pedestrian road. Easy to travel around. recommend.

I am very happy with my first stay in Crowne Plaza Hotel. The Premier Twin room was very new and clean. Location was good as Nanjing Road pedestrian mall was behind and a few minutes walk to People Square metro station. Good breakfast buffet spread with chinese and western selection. There is a chinese restaurant adjoining the hotel called Sunya and it serves good dim sum and chinese food.

Hotel is situated in the perfect area for tourists. Easy access to the subway. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The renovated rooms are quite nice except for the shower. Staff are helpful and courteous. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I think for business travels sime more papers and pens in room. Location is fantastic. Very nice breakfast .
Inhouse restaurant expebsuve for SA market. But located very conveniant close to food hall. Lovely stay will always return.
