Response from Property: Thank you for posting a comment following your recent stay. Regarding Internet access, the hotel completed an overhaul of the Internet system and installed Wi-Fi access points in each of the guest rooms, previously these Wi-Fi access points were just in the guest floor corridors, these Wi-Fi access points cover both 2.4ghz and 5ghz bandwidths. The regular Ethernet cables are also in place in the guest rooms, as I am sure you know, Ethernet connections work better than any Wi-Fi signal. I have had the hotels IT department check the log for the period you stayed in the hotel and ran an audit on the room in which you stayed, and found no major irregularities with the Wi-Fi. The issue with slow service might have been caused by one of the following, a configuration mismatch with the hotels broadband system (i.e., Proxy server, VPN, web bridge etc.) on your computer or tablet-style PC / I-Pad, this is known to have occurred in the past with previous guests. To be sure, I also checked the speed of the signal through Wi-Fi within the rooms in which you stayed and along the corridor, they were as follows: download speed of 14.93Mbps and upload 12.03Mbps. The Internet speed works well for regular use of websites and sending/receiving e-mails through the ISP providers, but not for streaming which hotels have to adhere to by local regulations in China, whereby they the ISP providers control the speeds, which is unlike countries outside of China where the Internet is less restricted.
