Overall, the hotel is good and beautiful. The breakfast includes a couple of Western options, which is convenient. But there are a few issues. The decor is a bit outdated, and there are no outlets near the bed or USB ports, which makes charging devices inconvenient.
The gym is great, and all the equipment is in good condition. However, the check-in line was huge and very slow, which really affected the first impression.

Good quality hotel. The spa and swimming pool is very useful and smart. The location is pretty good too. I think there could be more variety of western food choices though.

I personally fancy this brand, as I stayed before. Rooms are spacious with a bath tub, facilities wonderful and I used this time to relax. All recommends!

I thought it'd be nice to stay away from the Bund this time, and the location is only 10 minute walk from some very nice shops/cafes as well as short taxi journey's to almost everywhere you want to visit. 42 floors up the view was great too, you could see the Bund buildings too.

Typical old school Chinese hotel, location is very good for both business (less than 30 minutes from Hongqiao airport) or leisure (walking distance from French concession).
Good gym.
Clean BUT you can tell people still smoke in the room because there is a quite a noticeable background smell of cigarette. Nothing crazy but you can tell

The service at The Longemont Shanghai is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean with great views. The beds are ideal, very comfortable. The housekeeping staff is friendly and thoughtful and keep the rooms perfect. The pool is beautiful and bright and a joy to swim in, even in winter. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. I like the location, so close to the 71 and easy to access for cars as well. I enjoy returning here on my travels. Many thanks to all those who work at the Longemont Shanghai.

Nice place to fo any wherher near the downtown. And all of the staffs are so kind and passionate. I strongly recommend this hotel

10 min on foot from line 2 (Jiangsu Rd) and 12 min from line 10 (Jiaotong Univ.) Lots of cafe shops and restaurants around. Nice area to walk. Wukang Rd is nearby, that is a nice area to stroll around. Room was spacious, beds are comfy, bathroom was huge with bathtub. Toiletries were good quality. View was spectacular from the 36th floor. Minibar and room service were good. Prices are reasonable for the hotel. Check-in and check-out was smooth and fast.
Although two things need improvement: heating was not strong enough for the size of the room, and we needed to pay an extreme amount of deposit, what is definitely a thing needs to be told ahead of booking.
