Very far from any tourist attractions, the staff was really friendly tho… I don’t recommend it you want to travel around the city, the good thing is that the subway is very near.

The hotel has a very convenient location—it's on the penultimate station of the first metro line, just 30-40 minutes from the city center. The building itself has a café, several restaurants, and even a cinema, which was a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay more pleasant.
However, we had some issues with cleanliness. I’m almost certain there were bed mites—the bites were unbearable. I asked to change the sheets and treat the mattress, and after a second request, they did replace the linens. Additionally, we found a beetle in the bathroom and asked for it to be removed, but it stayed with us until the end of our stay.
The staff's kindness prevents me from giving a lower rating, but these issues really need attention.

The staff is very helpful and accomodating. Our room is super clean and good enough for us. Subway is about 300 meters, far from the city but accessible to go anywhere.

Staff were excellent, the passages are really dirty and could do with a clean. Location is excellent as it is close to the metro and many bus lines.

My honest review:
Pro:
- Comfortable and clean bed, bath towel
- Cheap rates
- Helpful receptionist
Cons:
- Poor sound proof. Not for light sleeper
- Construction noises upstairs begin at 6.30am is insane
- Location is an hour train ride to People square
- Limited / no amenities at almost dying office building ( no convenient shop nor supermarket )
- The room furniture have traces of aging and require some improvements
If you are budget traveller, this is definitely for you as what matters is a clean and comfortable bed.

A great hotel albeit very far from Shanghai city centre. Chose this hotel because it was relatively cheap. Room service and amenities in the room is very good! If you can afford to ride the metro from Shanghai city centre here for one and the half hours,, this is a great hotel.
