I was in Nanhui for the holidays and didn't feel like going home, so I just stayed overnight. Although the price was low for Shanghai, and I hadn't expected much from the ambiance, the room was truly disappointing.
Upon entering the room, I was struck by the haphazardly hung curtains. When I boiled the water, I noticed tea leaves and cigarette butts in the sink. Was it somehow uncleaned? The entire sink looked filthy and had a bad odor. The showerhead was detached, and the showerhead, which I struggled to get stuck on, kept falling off while I was showering! The hair dryer was broken; it shook my hand, but it didn't blow at all! Not to mention the thin, worn towels (which I didn't bother to review since I didn't use them anyway).
In 20 years of using Ctrip, this is the first time I've booked such a bad hotel, and the first time I've given it a bad review.
