Urcove by HYATT Shanghai Wujiaochang

We stayed here for 4 nights, and I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in room 1213, the room was modern, clean and tidy. You get complimentary refreshments in the mini fridge. There is a neat bar in the lounge on the ground floor. They serve cocktails, beers and soft drinks. The prices are unbelievably cheap. 20-30rmb for cocktails, 20rmb for a bottle of quality Belgium beer. Pretty awesome! Each and every one of the staff were friendly and helpful. They helped collect the numerous parcels I got delivered to the hotel, and even helped me to change the delivery address on the Taobao app when I had accidentally got the goods ordered to the wrong address. I thought I’d left a sweater in the room after checking out, so called them to enquire. I spoke to a lady called 帅帅, although they never found my sweater (as it was actually tucked away in my boyfriend’s suitcase) she demonstrated to be very eager to assist and got the cleaner to check the room thoroughly. Only downside about this hotel is that there weren’t enough washing machines and dryers for the number of guests, so it was very difficult to use the laundry facilities. I had to queue up all night till about 3am to wash and dry my clothes. This wasn’t an issue at the other UrCove we had stayed in before, in Xi’an. Anyhow, we’d happily stay at UrCove Shanghai again.

Conveniently located nearby a huge shopping mall, just a mere 10mins walk away, where you can find lots of restaurants. Hotel staffs are super friendly and always ready to help, serves Peets coffee at a bar next to the concierge. The room is clean and high tech, just order your extra toiletries, water, etc. from the Pad next to the bed, a robo transporter will send it to your room. There’s also a free laundry (wash/dry) room next to the gym, pretty convenient l for a long stay.

Eric and 帅帅 are very helpful and extremely welcoming staff. Really appreciate their help. Amazing service!

The rooms are very comfortable, in a central location, with a wide variety of shopping centers; I recommend it.

Hotel a bit far from metro, you need to walk through Hopson mall to go to hotel everyday but others is really good they served you a free laundry room that really good!
