The place where I stayed was only 20~30 meters away from Walmart, where I would go shopping almost every day. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Subway Line 9 Guilin Road Station (take MRT Line 2_14 from Pudong International Airport, get off at Century Avenue Station, transfer to Line 9_10 and get off at Guilin Road Station, which takes about 90 minutes and costs ¥7, which is very cheap). It is cost-effective, and the only drawback is that the guests are quite mixed, like a combination of monthly rental rooms, staff dormitories and daily rental suites. Occasionally, I could smell the smell of fried eggs from the room opposite. This price is absolutely acceptable in Shanghai. I booked the room in March (the boss said that few people booked the room 4 months in advance), and the hotel business was good. There were several days during my stay that were fully booked. There are many restaurants nearby, or Walmart has many prepared food options.
